Heh, I still remember the multiple posts about "Mr. Positive" over at the M715Zone, lol. That was great stuff and I got a lot of laughs out of it. If any of you guys get some time and want a good story, pop over to the M715Zone.com and search for Barrman's posts on Mr. Positive. We have...
Ugh, looks like a HMMWV someone "civilianized" as a cheaper alternative to buying an H1. They probably removed all the military data plates in an effort to make it look like the more expensive model.
Another bad thing about synthetic winch rope is it's lack of abrasion resistance. Most of the rock crawlers I know replace their winch rope every year due to abrasion and exposure to the sun. I don't it would be very cost effective on a MV, especially considering how most are used somewhat...
Be careful with the 435. As I understand, the NP203 uses the same size and spline shaft for the input but it is a different length. If your Parts Manager was working during the era of the D & W series trucks, he should have all the info you need but don't hesitate to ask here either.
Looks like you are headed in the right direction. Make sure that NP435 will mate to a NP203, otherwise you will have to either disassemble the 435 to swap in a different tailshaft and transfer case adaptor, swap to another NP435 or use a NP208, NP205, or NP241 transfer case and lose the full...
Agreed. The "Police with APCs" discussion has already happened at least once and if you want to revisit it, go post in one of those threads. Let's not insult WGT by polluting every one of his threads with this tedious topic.
True, but MOWAG vehicles were built by a separate company originally and the one's built by General Dynamics had several unique variations. Also there are several generations of the Pirahna which have very different hull designs while the majority of the General Dynamics vehicles use the...
I think it is a MOWAG Grizzly. I believe the Coyote was an 8x8 version. It's a part of the rather large family of vehicles based off the MOWAG Piranha of which General Dynamics of Canada produced the LAV-25 for the USMC as well as the Bison, and several other variants. General Dynamics now...
I don;t understand how your account was lost and someone signed up under your old name. Even if you were somehow lost, the posts would still be in place and the username could not be used again. I don't think it is possible for someone to take over an old account unless they signed on with...
Just a note about the spacer kit to avoid confusion. The Mopar Performance spacer set is the only thing available to the automotive market for swapping distributors. This spacer allowed racers running a B series engine (350, 361, 383 or 400) to be able to run a RB series distributor. This was...
I'd love to have them but the shipping costs more than what it's worth to me and I have more pressing priorities at the moment. Nothing like being in debt with no job, lol.
