They might fit, but 10-ton wheels are 24 inches in diameter. Tires this size are not easy to find and are expensive. A better choice might be some 22.5 inch civilian wheels.
Everyone,
I was contacted to try to help round up military vehicles for display at the Hemet-Ryan Air Show in Hemet, CA on Saturday, June 11th. They are looking for approximately 15 vehicles of any size. They requested we arrive by 8:30 AM and stay until the end of the show at 3:00 PM.

That's true anywhere. I live in a non HOA area and I like it that way. I would rather put up with a shirtless, helmetless, fool racing up and down the street on a loud quad, than have an HOA in my face all the time.
Just my 2cents
PS: Never had any trouble in California. Got stopped by a...
Welcome to Steel Soldiers cody38,
Driver's side (0 to 12 Volts) is a standard GM alternator that can be purchased at any decent auto parts store. Passenger side (12 to 24 Volts) must have an isolated ground and is a little harder to find. If the passenger side alternator "GEN 2 " goes bad, you...
You say you have an M35A1. Is that true? Does it still have the LDT-427 engine? I doubt it because the military yanked that engine in favor of the LD and LDT-465 engine. If you still had the LDT-427, you'd be concerned about too much smoke.
A speedometer shop can make you an inline gear box that corrects the speedometer. I had to do this when I converted my Pinzgauer's speedometer from kilometers to miles.
I share pctrans' concerns about the possibility of CO poisoning. I have a friend who's kids had to spend time in a hyperbaric chamber at a hospital in San Diego after carbon monoxide poisoning in a motorhome. Their grandmother had accidentally squashed the generator exhaust pipe going up a steep...
Here's what I have. It's for a 24 Volt electric bicycle, not a wheel chair like I earlier said. I don't know how much this costs as it was given to me by my dad. I usually hook it up to the deuce if I haven't driven it for a while.
The original trailer for the M38A1 would be an M100 with rounded fenders. The M38A1 will also tow and operate the lights on a flat fender M416 just fine.
Jeep and deuce is a nice combo, I really like you third photo. Thanks for sharing.
:ditto: Barrman is correct. I noticed while following a friend in his M1009. The left front tire stuck out farther than the left rear. I drifted to the right side and noticed the same thing. This was about 10 years ago when I first got into CUCV's.
1. True, almost no M813's are turboed, unless done by a civilian owner.
2. Non-turbo (and gasser) M35's exist, but they are outnumbered by the turbo trucks.
3. It IS harder and more expensive to own an M813 because they use more fuel and the tools required to work on them tend to be larger etc...
