thanks for the reply about the intake being surounded by the water jacket, i tap in to the runner and took my readind before it reach the valve and there was not difrents in tempereature between the discharge air from the turbo after passing througth the intake, however in a very hot...

You can also do it to a duece , should be close to the same set up , looking to finish the tanks on the intercooler next week and then work on the piping should have more pictures soon;-)

I belive the ratio is .78 and drops about 500 rpm over the direct drive 5th gear trany , if you get both tranys you should be able to put one good one together if needed , not hard to take apart just big stuff to move around :roll:

I'm getting more understanding of this trucks as i do more things, i fix the air lines located on top of the tranny that conect to the tranfer case to engage the front axle, i notice that shifter its always letting air out of one of the selenoids[rear one] even when in neutral , so i took the...

Its there a adjustment for air pressure on this trucks, whats the correct pressure my works around 110lbs , it looks like there its no air leaks that i can hear with engine off thanks :oops:

I see you live in lake mary , thats a little east of orlando , i go there quiet often, orlando, there is always those trucks for sale around, i just got a M52A2 a month or so ago, from OHIO , he had lots of 5 ton choices mainly M800 series, i think ther is a 5 ton for sale in the orlando area...

Its the M818 5 SPD OD a direct bolt on for my M52A2 those the clutch have the same spline also does anyone know the gear ratios between both trany one is a direct 5 SPD the other OD 5 SPD thanks

Today i hook up my ptyrometer and when out for a ride all fat ground only tractor , around city it get up to 600 degrees 5-6lbs of boost and on HWY 53-55 mph it would hit 900* and 1000* on a on ramp like a small hill, good now i got all the data i need for future change :-D
