    CUCV turn signal stumper

The one on the core support is tight and looks clean, but I did not remove it and check. There is a wire with a spade connector that goes to a tab bolted to the frame that is tight and clean too. I disconnected that one and there was no change in function (good or bad). Could the ground for the...

    CUCV turn signal stumper

The bulb and socket look new and clean. The signal works fine when the lights are off so the bulb and switch are good

    CUCV turn signal stumper

The left turn signal on my M1009 has developed an annoying habit. When the Service Light switch is ON and the stock headlight plunger is in the OFF position (park and head lights OFF) the turn signals operate as normal (left blinks left and right blinks right, e flashers operate normal) When the...

    Texas CDL?

If you are not pulling for money get a Class A and leave the CDL for the professionals!

    Texas CDL?

Your confusion here lies in the "C" part of "CDL" which means "Commercial" and has nothing to do with GVW. The Commercial part is for people driving for money and is not required for anyone operating a personal vehicle for non commercial reasons (which means driving for compensation of ANY kind...

I almost did not recognize Miss C without blue hair! That was a very good for him to come off his Freedom Bird to that welcome:)

Here is my M416 behind my M1028, she rides nose high with the lunette in the top hole. This pull was the closest I have ever come to the proverbial "did not know the trailer was back there", I could only see her in the turns and feel her at the speed bumps...

Tail gates on a BT3/M100/M416 are sort of like a de-clawed cat: I would NEVER do it to the animal, but if it has been done already by someone else, it is sort of nice to live with:) The best of both worlds is a Bantam BT3-C ("C" for "civilian"). Bantam's answer to the post VJ Day question...

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

I dropped Pinky off to the body shop Monday afternoon and drove home in a 2011 Ford F-150 with four doors and cold A/C. The repairs were done by 1700 Friday much to my dismay (I was hoping to keep the F-150 through the weekend, dammitt), but they did a good job. Yesterday morning as I was...

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

Good advice on the rental, I have not heard back on that but will make sure I am not crammed into an econobox.

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

It's still not a done deal yet, the rental car still has to be worked out. IF I can take a check instead I would rather do that, but either way is good with me.

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

I got the estimate yesterday, $2135!!! TDS is going to pay for the repairs rather than cut a check, the work starts Monday and was estimated to take one week. We still have not discussed a rental car since this IS my daily driver.

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

I talked to them this morning and they told me to get an estimate and fax it in, which I will do tomorrow. So far everything is smooth and I don't anticipate any troubles.

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

The driver said "I back around that same truck in that same spot all the time, don't know how I hit it today!"

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

It's not that bad, blends in with the GL forklift dents... I don't foresee any issues, they are a VERY large company and very well insured, and this will be a small claim.
