I went from 9.8 MPG to 12 MPG when I :
re built the carter,
advanced timing to 10 deg BTDC,
took the cargo cover off and removed the troop seats,
If you get better than 12 MPG let us know how...
Thanks guys,
I just completed a headlight relay modification and I am in the process of editing the video and having it checked for " electrical information accuracy" .
It should be up in a week...
I think it would of been better if it wasn't for the rain. I did see a couple of MVs here and there but always thought it would be cool to put a convoy together for the show, or maybe even overtake a good parking lot.
Hi guys,
Well I just got a new flip video camera and decided to take it up to Woodward. this is my first video with this camera and is a little shakey, I will try to come up with a tripod that I can mount on the seat or dash for next year. But if you have some time to kill you can check it...
I did the same thing for the same reason, except I used Olympic from Lowes. here is what I can tell you :
I have ben using Acrylic Laytex on my M880 since 2005. I have used S&W super paint and Oylimpic. I have used both Krylon and Rustoleum over the Acrylic without any issues. I have also...
I think this sums it up pretty well, No doubt that if your truck is in good mechanical / electrical condition that it will make the trip.
I am not sure about your truck, But I do not like to drive mine above 60 MPH for any length of time. That being said, I have and will drive my unit down...
Consider this :
To most people, an M880 is nothing more than an old power wagon. In this case, an old power wagon with a lot of rust. The people who are willing to pay top dollar for one are the ones who have had a connection to the M880s in there past and this pool of people are getting...
Hi guys,

I have read post on other forums where guys are setting their 318 at 12 deg BTDC but am not sure what year...
I thought about getting a radio and insturment cluster bezel for mine, ( if it has one ) I could also use a rear vue mirror that has the flip up lever on it .
1) Make sure the body of the truck has a good ground, on my truck there is a ground wire that goes to the neg side of the battery to the left fender.
2) When you say " nothing past there " does your horn work in service drive ?
3) If horn works in service drive, check for power at the...

Yes, my plow rides on the ground. 85% of the guys who plow up here do not use shoes and I have never seen anybody plow with wheels. like previously stated, shoes are nice when doing gravel allies, gravel drive ways or when you are conserned about tearing up the surface ( black top in bad shape...
I have used the 1 Qt can stuff on my plow ( yellow) I applied it with a 3" chip brush over rustoleum rusty metal primer, on new and used metal parts that were wired brushed with a cup brush on an angle grinder.
It has held up well for two plow seasons now...
