Im selling an axle set for a crawler project. He wants to know if the axle is a u-joint style. My question is are all m35a2 axles u-joint style or is there another type?

The miles seem to go by really slow at 48mph, leave the CTIS off and air up to 50-60 manually. I did a 1000 mile recovery and yes your butt really hurts. Stop and walk about every 2-3 hours.
80% of the time the trailer is in tow. Only problem is on long steep downgrades. Like you said pin the trailer and use the tow rigs engine and brakes. Normal towing the brakes seem to work fine.
