My bad, The 34052 is an earlier version of green. 34079 is period correct for the M880. I currently run Goodyear Wrangler ( what the orginal tires were in a 16.5 ) in the P265/70R16s. The spedo is accurate with these tires....

Lusterless Forest Green is # 34052 on the Federal Color Chart that can be found at any Sherwin - Williams Store. If you plan of Camoing the truck let me know and I will dig up the other color numbers for you....

I cant explain it.....But my alt. gage pulsates also (all the time at an idle and worse if the lights are on) I have had the system checked at the parts store many times and they tell me its pleanty good..... I have noticed that if I spray WD-40 directly into the alternator and the junction...

Frank Is right, This was never a " M " series truck, I do think you should still restore it as it was used by the Air Force.

I agree, sell it, after all he is Family and you cold proubly get it back if needed. In fifty years nobody is really going to care if you have to put another 318 into it and the numbers dont match. In that ammount of time They will just be glad to see one on the road with a 318 in it .

I lost all the lights to the rear of my truck once, I had to replace the turn signal switch to fix them because the power for the lights ( at least to the rear) runs threw the turn signal switch....but I dont think I lost the front parking lights. ( cant remember ) There is a write up on this...

electrical issues are the #1 PITA on these vehicles, But other than that they are very easy to keep on the road. Good luck with your M880
