HOLD ON, don't go selling it just yet. Still one SIMPLE, EASY thing you haven't checked yet. Pull the center plug in the hydraulic head. The one in the middle of all the injector lines. Go pull the plug off the in tank fuel pump so it won't spout a geyser out of there while the plug is out. Then...
Looks like i'll have the 939 PTO, a pile of 5 ton injectors,a couple hummer alternators and a deuce full of randon stuff TBD as i personally haven't even seen a lot of it yet.
That looks like fun. I usually hate the beach but something about green iron and hot women in skimpy attire have me suddenly in the mood for some sand. I see the makings of a hotties and deuces calendar. Just think how fast those suckers would sell on here. You could finance a couple new trucks...
115 degrees, deuce won't start and the wife is pissed at you. Wow, surprised you haven't been replying and telling people to go screw . Looking forward to hearing how it goes with the shutoff confirmed as moving freely. FWIW you can have that cover off, monkey with things a bit and have it...
Thats the thing, the hyd relief valve should open or the motor should stall before you manage that kind of carnage. Or in your case the little sucker should tip right over...Gotta love bobcats.
Ok, that would be the cold start system. Basically there is a fuel pump that turns on when you hit that switch that forces high press fuel through a nozzle in your intake and ignites it with a spark plug of sorts. Basically you have the inner workings of an oil furnace in the intake. I would not...
Holy crap, when you said you bent the cyl rod i thought a little tweak not like that:shock:. I have been thinkin my deuce is a little slow and your vid confirms that. Your 20 K lb 108 gets up and going much quicker than my truck when its empty. Lookin really good man, keep up the great work.
No idea what it would be worth, don't think i have seen anything like that offered for sale so it may be tough to figure that out. Certainly seems to be a market though. Just grab some specs and pics whatever you do.
I'll gladly take the hyd setup from you as well, depending on how much its worth to ya. Need to put a winch back on the 108 and as it already has the hydros for the crane it should be crazy simple to rig up. Barring that could you snap some pics of the hyd motor and get the info from it?? Be...
 Thats freakin funny right there spentshell. Kinda surprised we don't see more "interesting" inscriptions in these trucks. Guys spent a lot of time with them and no doubt could have left something for the next owner just before it got turned in.
That is NOT normal. I was cranking the A1 in 30 second increments for prob a total of 5 min or more. Obviously letting it cool a bit between attempts. It takes some serious power to crank a deuce but i would think the batts from your truck would suffice. It has to be warm there so i would think...
Once you have taken the cover off to look at the shutoff lever you will understand how it could be stuck. You pull it one way to shut down but a spring returns it to run when you let off the cable, No way to reset it to run without pulling the cover if the spring is gummed up. Have you loosened...
I wouldn't worry about the title issue as much as on any other vehicle. NOT a deal breaker IMO. Oh, it certainly could be a 52, just retrofitted with a multi later on, certainly not a rare thing. I think you did well enough on that truck, hang on to it.
