    I need front spring hangers.

Yeah i wish, trying to support the green addiction on limited $$$$, pretty much all my spare cash goes to green right now but flow is limited especailly with aberdeen approaching, need to stockpile some cash for that trip.

    I need front spring hangers.

yeah i know on the PITA aspect :-( hopefully i can come up with something in the SS delivery service range. Jcappelerjr, the 108 is the deuce wrecker/ cranetruck so any standard deuce springs and perches will work. Good thinking firefighterhill, if aberdeen comes and goes without something...

How do you drain the air tanks?

Fanbrain, let me be the first to reccomend a good read of the -10 manual. Its sort of like the owners manual for your car. No in depth stuff but it covers all the basics. That said...... you should drain the tanks after every use. The brakes on a deuce are not airbrakes and as such won't lock/...

    I need front spring hangers.

BUMP, ANYONE out there???? Still need these suckers to get the 108 moving. Really, really really want to get it together sooner rather than later. I hate having it sit awaiting pickup forever. Aberdeen is coming up, wanted to have it home before then but as that is prob not going to happen...

driving with one wheel/tire/axle off the ground

Yeah i sort of see where you are goin with this and i wish you the best of luck but still not worth it IMO. Personally if it was me and i was going to be cruizing in the middle of nowhere i would stick to the duals. You would really, really have to be trying to blow tires to lose enough of them...

How do you drain the air tanks?

You should never need to unscrew the petcocks from the tank unless you are installing new ones or something. They can get a bit sticky if not opened for a long time and may require some persuasion but they should turn and drain. Looks like the inside one even has a bolt added to the stupid...

driving with one wheel/tire/axle off the ground

Honestly i'm not sure what the benefits are here. Chain up an axle so you don't have to change tires??? Maybe its me but i really doubt you are going to go through the 2 spares you are planning on carrying. If you do you might just want to avoid singling the truck out so you have more rubber...

    Oil Additives For Turbos?

I like the mystery oil as well, i add some to anything with an engine when i change the oil. Seen it work some real miracles as a penetrant as well. I think the 2007 stipulation is an emissions thing, when added to the fuel it prob dosen't pass the new emissions standards. Sort of like the for...

If I get a deuce how broke will I be?

I agree entirely, its not that they cost a lot its that you WILL buy more than one. Believe me i was just gonna be a 1 truck kind of guy, didn't have the room for more than 1. Trust me, you will find the space. Look at me i'm on number 3 in less than 12 months.

    Identification of drop side bed

Don't forget the HUGE dropside tailgate, sticks up a lot higher than the standard one. While they certainly can swap them around most seem to be right in that regard.

    Ordered wheels today

The air intake extension is just a 4 inch diameter 90 degree pipe, you can find those at any NAPA the scoop is the heater intake, not to help air flow under the hood :-) P.S. Truck looks GOOD with those singles on there. I promise i'll be up real soon to remove that 108 from your yard. Hang...
