I purchased this kit for my M925A2 sometime back from Those Military Guys. One of the door handles required trimming for proper fitment. The ignition switch is a pretty flimsy setup, especially the key itself. The dash also requires drilling and the included step bit burned up before the hole...
I searched the TM's and couldn't find my specific application. On my 5 ton the bow stakes are stowed behind the cab in slots in the cargo bed. The angle iron rests that the stakes sit on don't have end caps and the bows will slide sideways and fall down into the frame area after driving a while...
Searched forums with no luck. M925A2 not building air at idle. At speed, truck builds air and compressor cycles off at 130+ psi. Complete air dryer service within the last 6 months. No leaks detected. Could it be the PPV valve?
After using the board search engine, when results are displayed I click on them and nothing happens.
Trying to find info on camber adjustment on a 5 ton.
Anyone else having this issue?
Installed these recently. Wired them to come on when the high beams are activated. Just scored a set of the spots on eBay that I'll replace them with. I am going to move these to the rear for back up lights that will be activated with a toggle switch. Thinking about multiple LED light bars for...
Doghead has often admonished folks having air issues to service their air dryer. He's right. Service your air dryer!!! I don't think mine had EVER been serviced.
My ether injector is apparently not working. When the switch is pressed on the dash, does it send 24v to the solenoid on the ether injector? If so, it isn't. Not getting voltage at the switch / button either, which is plugged in. Any ideas?
Thank you.
Thinking about building a flatbed for my 5 ton. I need to haul 20' sections of pipe with it and also need it to be 8' wide. I am considering an 18' length. Do you guys think the extra 4' length will lighten the front end too much when loaded? I may haul up to 7-8 thousand pounds of pipe.
I think my compressor has failed. My low air alarm activated last night as I was pulling into my driveway. I walked around the vehicle and could not hear any air leaks. Any suggestions of things to troubleshoot? If the compressor is bad, where is the best place to get a 2 stage unit to replace it?
Other than require constant disassembly and cleaning. I'm sure it's a debris trap, but what is the plunger thing for? Vent moisture?
