I still need a spot, just not a big one, the standard one will be plenty. Need to see if the coordinator or chris can do something about that.
If not, oh well. Better to have a parking spot thats too big than none at all.
Guys, he said he has fuel flow at the secondary's, so the intank is working and fuel is making it thru the filters. No smoke when cranking after sitting could be the fuel shutoff being stuck. Looks like it works on the outside but the little lever may not be moving inside. Remove the 2 screws...
Sweet trucks you scored there, regardless of what you paid.
P.S. I love that truck JT, gotta see more pics of that thing one of these days.
is that the M35A1??
Ok, i got a question. Pulled a no brainer when i ponied up the $$$ for a spot. Figured bigger is better and went with a "big" space for 75. Well, there is no reason i need a big space just me and the deuce. No big spaces listed in the above reply which is in a way good and in a way bad. Just...
Benefit numero uno is that you can stop worrying about it blowing a seal and diluting your oil. Otherwise i think its all a crapshoot. Sure it does something but exactly what is debatable if you will be running mostly diesel. The engine makes it a multi, not the FDC. :-D
Nice flick, anyone that hasn't seen it should. They really did get the sound dead on for that deuce, although the in cab shots were a bit quieter than is realistic. Can hardly wait for the next one now.
I have personally seen a shattered bronze bull gear from a deuce winch, i assure you that if you put a bolt in place of the shear pin SOMETHING much more expensive will break. Sure the winch may work fine forever but it only takes once to kill ya. Wasn't me that broke that winch and i hope i...
Excellent point on the flamethrower, i'll keep that filed under "may someday be useful". As we speak i'm waiting for the last 20 min of resident evil apocalypse to load, after that its on to extinction. LOVED the first one but just haven't found the time to watch the other 2 until this thread...
FWIW i wouldn't go with the 18K figure, thats not really correct. For the truck to hold its military rating for over the road use you would be safer in the 23.5-24 K range (depends on your truck). 18 K would be the correct total weight for offroad use. I'm not even gonna touch the legal aspect...
hey mike, i think i may have you grab a few small things, snatchblock or 2 ect. Want me to pay them and have you grab the stuff for me or would you rather grab the stuff and have me pay you?? Just let me know :-D
Ah, now ya see there thats why the basic info is important. I didn't know his 818 was W/W. Seems a lot of them don't have winches and as it didn't mention a winch in the post or in his sig i asumed it was without.
