I used lots of Dynamat under the floor and over top the transmission on my Deuce to keep the noise down a bit and it did a very good job on both the noice and the heat coming from the floor. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again, by the way I think all of these products are very close in both...
There are about 100 different ways to filter waste oil from a centrifuge type system to sitting 2 five gallons on top each other with a screen in between. One way that seems fairly popular is to have to chemical totes I think they are around 150 gallons or so and build a filtering system...
I have an M920 I put 1600s on and it sure helped the ride a lot keeps my RPS down a bit more at speed all in all I like them a lot. The only downside I have found is it increased my turning radius a fair bit, I have to backup a couple more times in a tight turn!
Tire balancing. Some of this depends on how big of a tire your balancing. I took my M920 to a tire shop to balance the tires/wheel assemblies and they took one look at them and said NO WAY, those tires are way to big to balance with lead weights, the truck had 1600x20 on it with HEMTT wheels...
Like what was said look at the TMs and if your rotors still have good wear left in them I would leave them and have them turned then install new pad clean and lubricate according to the TMs and wear them out. If your pads arent dragging the rotors on the vehicle might just be crappy metal...
Congrats on the 710s that green one looks really nice!! I was looking a 712 a few years ago and saw an add for one out of florida if I remember correctly and didnt call the owner and about a month or so later I saw the add again. Of course the add was gone a couple days later and again I just...
guyfang the fuel solenoid is electric I am going to go over there tomorrow with my wife and have he activate the shutdown switch and I will take some electrical reading on the connections on the solenoid. I will also make sure that its not froze up since the truck has been sitting for 3 years...
Guyfang I pulled the switch today and tested it and the contacts open when I activate the switch so the switch appears to be operating fine obviously that moves the problem down the line. On top of the engine is a canister looking item with wires attached to it and a lever on it, please correct...
Hey guys I fired up my M977 HEMTT the other day and went to shut it off and the fuel cutoff switch next to the ignition switch did not cut the fuel off. Is this switch just a simple momentary switch that cuts the electricity off to the circuit that allows fuel to flow or is it something more...

Congrats Rednblue that truck doesnt look to bad in black! As far as THAT lost feeling either download the TMs or buy a paper set from Patrick at Portrayal Press he is a good guy. The TMs are you gateway to learning everything about your truck! I cannot emphasize that enough! They explain all...
Do you just NOT want to work on your truck? The TMs on this site will tell you just about everything there is to know about your truck and how it works, the troubleshooting section very likely will have this problem in it also.
Running your deuce on straight gasoline? That falls under the EMERGENCY ONLY category! At least you wont have to worry about MPG because it wont make it that far!
Hey guys my 920 had not run in 2.5 years and when I went to start it the other day it fired up like I drove it yesterday. After starting the engine and letting air build of course I am watching oil pressure and all other pertinent gauges closely I noticed the voltmeter was only reading about 8...
