I would guess that your truck really enjoys being able to streatch out and get some use. After all the fluids need to be moved around lest rust may start to begin.
Looks like the 24 volt system and glowplug system are intact. :)
I have one tip for you and that is to blue locktight the air cleaner wing bolts. Those little devils like to come loose and disappear. Looks like there are new ones on there.
Welcome from Missouri! Great beginning with history search being sought out. And you have what looks to be a good hardtop. Look through the classifieds and see what is available. A few months ago tires were out there for the taking. Maybe some are still around close to you.
Good Luck!
Outstanding!
Welcome aboard! I am hoping that the truck has all its original wiring intact. That will make it easier to diagnose and repair the problems.
For your current problem go to the rear bumper and see what the trailer plug wires look like.
Good Luck and look into the Helpful CUCV...
Refering to Training Manuals is always a good self starting point. Then site searching is next but with the different language I am not sure how good that works.
.MAX. as I said we can help but when the primary electrical has changed makes it harder to diagnose and fix but lets get a starting...
So is the battery off line when the lights go out, no connection?
Not enough power, as Marcus has said in post #8. That will be a starting point to remove any questionable connections that would create problems. Cleaning all grounds that can be removed, cleaned and replaced to make sure a good...
Your pictures do help but without seeing in person what has happened it is hard to diagnose on the net. When stock systems are changed it makes it harder to figure out, that is why we go to basics first.

The housings will distort when...
Air bubbles will enter from fuel slosh in the fuel tank just from operating the vehicle. However the more fuel that you keep in your fuel tank the amount of bubbles will be reduced somewhat, as less fuel in the tank the line will suck in more air bubbles.
Safety concerns are the reason why...
The X Program Aircraft, XB70, Space Vehicles, Mercury, Gemini, Apollo Rockets, X15, kept a young kid reading and always looking towards what "could be". As the programs continue to explore limits of technology, new technology keeps forging the future.
Now as I grow older and new technological...
Chevrolet engines in the 60's and 70's sometimes had between 1 and 7 different pistons in different sizes. This made assembly in the engine shop easier as the final bore and honing tools ware.
Then when machine shops would get the engine they would "square up" on rebuilds as they are working on...
Rings wear and the gaps get larger. They may have been in spec and maybe someone fitted different parts to make it work. The pistons would not be the same measurement as the bore.
Find the proper engine manual for all the engine specifications. That will give you the correct ring gaps for all...
erasedhammer how was the truck running before you had the leak in the original fuel line? Is this a continuation of, Hard cold starts hot weather thread?
