I have a project Deuce and lots of related parts I would like to sell. I can bring parts to the meet on request and the deuce is about 20 miles from the park if anyone is interested.
I'm not bringing a truck this year, I don't have anything street-legal and/or roadworthy. I am coming tomorrow evening to camp and hang out. I'm planning to soon sell off a lot of my military vehicle stuff. I have some M-715 parts and an m-35a2 (rough but complete and runs) with lots of...
Well, I'm definitely in. I'm not sure yet about my logistics but my tentative plan is to tow the white M-715 to the park and tent camp.
I'm in the process of liquidating a lot of my MV stuff including my deuce. I have some of parts and odds and ends, if anybody is interested in M-35 or M-715...
I had a great time too. I couldn't believe when I got home that I didn't take ANY photos except for a couple in the convoy to the event. Thanks for posting up the pictures everyone. It was great to see everybody again and especially good to see the camp out grow with some new people.
Here is some family camping at BVORR.
Barrman puzzling over my wiring harness. It turned out to be a 5 Ton harness which we may yet adapt but didn't attempt there pending finding a better fit.
In this photo you can see four of the 5 deuces we had.
Allright, its been pretty quiet around here, I was worried I was the only one coming. The museum is open from 0900 to dark, the re-enactment is scheduled for 1400.
I'd like to see us depart for the museum in the 0930-1000 range which will give plenty of time to see the static displays and...
Yep, I go to these things to visit with like-minded enthusiasts. The tractor disappointed me last weekend with a flat and failure to start so I couldn't get my cab swap done on the 715. My M-35 has been a back burner project for years now and although its really rough looking, mechanically its...
I am pushing this weekend to get the project truck at least to where I can play on the trails at BVORR. Radiator is ordered, cab swap this weekend if I can get the tractor started. Then just have to mount a few tires, rig up a fuel tank, fix the exhaust leaks, fix all the stuff that broke or...
Sorry to hear about the cancellation but I certainly understand. Next weekend was starting to not look so good for me either. I was really looking forward to seeing everyone and playing with the trucks though, count me in for March and I'll have my V-8 715 in the game then hopefully.
Hey everyone! I was just thinking about this but hadn't had a chance to check SS. I've been working on my truck in progress and will hopefully have the V-8 715 out for this one.
I was worried becuase I have an event at work that is all consuming the previous week through the previous weekend...
The drawings and layout look great! My only suggestion is to spell out Texas and "Military Vehicle" so that anyone seeing the shirt will immediately know what its about.
I'm planning on coming. I'll bring a road-worthy MV this time, hopefully my upgraded M-715 (currently under constructions) or my deuce (rough but doable).
I had a great time last weekend, I've been to the museum event nearly every year for the last several years, nice swap meet and lots of...
