    Countersunk bolt removal

Hmm, heat or no heat? Don’t want to melt the rivnut / fasteners. Else drill/extract? Of course also the weld nut method as well… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Slant back seal

Yeah, I'm interested in the blast shield seal covers as well. Looks like my cargo shell deck is not drilled for them. I gather this was optional on the 1151a1 or a field installation? Noticed a few 1151a1/1167's on GP that had the blast shields installed along with a few more trim pieces at...

    Slant back seal

Finished installing new seal today. Armor plate removal was a PITA. Lots of corrosion to deal with on fasteners and some base corrosion on plate and hatch. Last pictures illustrate missing plastic trim piece on the upper LT corner of the hatch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Slant back seal

Yeah. There is a plastic trim piece riveted in to fill the gap in the upper RT corner. LT piece is missing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

M1152 Just delivered but no power steering or brakes. Brake light on.

Thanks [emoji120] I stand corrected. I think there may still be some air in the 1151 system. Perhaps a loose line… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

M1152 Just delivered but no power steering or brakes. Brake light on.

Top of the reservoir should be off only when the engine is off. 40 tour s lock to lock by hand with both wheels off the ground. My system was 1qt low and took about 200 to get all the air out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Adjusted and filled RF hub. Maintenance by Military had not been completed. Steering arm bolts were hand tight. Bearing adjustment was loose. Hub was nearly empty. Gears, bearings and races looked great fortunately. Took the opportunity to also replace the spindle seal. Used a new lock washer...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Installed new glass. Windshields we’re removed during demil. ECV/Rev windshield retainers are dear $/hard to find. Used 998 style retainers and re-drilled using ECV retainers as a template. Came out very close with very little rework of a few holes. Thanks to @Mainsail for letting me use his...

    Slant back seal

Q: Is adhesive indicated where the seal metal lip joins the hatch? Just got a new seal for installation. Looks like I also have to R&R one armor panel that sandwiches the upper part of the seal. RT side molded plastic in place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk LT trim piece missing

11xx driver mirror in lower position

Mirror installed in lower position with new bracket. Looking forward [emoji1787] to seeing how this works for me when I get the 1151 road worthy. In the upper position I found my LT turn visibility excessively impaired with mirror adjusted to TM. In the lower position I seem to have much...

Looks like the pulley does not have a nub or threaded holes for a puller to engage. Gather a puller has to be used that engages the back side of the pulley outer diameter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is the remote style pump for the ECV. Yeah it should slide off hence my frustration. I’ll give it another go with a press / heat or other motivation after the torrential rain stops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
