I made it up Friday for a while. Great show. Got my stuff from Matt. Found some other cool stuff. I'll be back next year for sure. As for the Huey rides, it goes to Knob Creek too. The ride there is over the Kentucky forests and north side of Ft. Knox. Really awesome.

It has been there for decades but has not been open for public visits until the last few years. Back in the 80's, it was larger with many of the vehicle being operational. Captured radar systems were tested and evaluated near by as well as countermeasures.

Rory is completely correct. I might add that the South Vietnamese army used them first and retained the factory "V-100 Commando" name. This is where most US personnel first became aware of the vehicle and the name stuck.
