The term garrison indicates on the base, as opposed to in the field. It never leaves the base.

ATHS Convention, York PA. 28-30 May

The ATHS very much welcomes green trucks and often have them at events. It is a great organization and the nationals are great. Old trucks have such a variety, from pickups and Jeeps, to cement mixers and semis.

USAF PJ Mini Trail JR80 Motorcycle ?

It is a minibike, but it can be carried on the MH-6 Little Birds, anything bigger, and even jumped. They've proven themselves very handy for FAC and Pathfinder missions. Fast, quiet, reliable, and can haul a troop with a decent amount of gear. The SAS and Pathfinders use them as well.

USAF PJ Mini Trail JR80 Motorcycle ?

Cool photo. That is a Kawasaki KLX-110, which is a 4-stroke. It is what PJs use now.

Anybody know of BTR series vehicles for sale state side??

All of this has been covered many times on many threads. Suffice to say, the biggest problem of owning a BTR in the US is it's width. It is oversized and you will not get it licensed for road use; the main fun of wheeled armor. If that is not an issue, the check out Augdog's. It has a lot of...

M16 Half Track Purchase, Need Advice

You are correct about duty. No customs duty on vintage vehicles. Bring it into Baltimore. There is a RORO twice a month from Portsmouth. You need and approved ATF Form 6, but no fees for that.

    gun truck 100mph

Given the roads of the ETO, 35mph is pretty much the max that could possibly be used. 100mph would be totally useless, even absurd.

    Saracen - British 6 wheel

You need to invest in a manual before seriously considering one of these. Their complexity cannot be overstated. And re-engineering is a pipe dream.

You can do the ATF Form 6 yourself. It's free and there is no import license required for personal use.

Working on a "Major" Brake Adjustment

We created a dedicated wrench by grinding a shallow (narrow) box end wrench. Works great.

    form 6 questions

Bottom line is this: IF you attempt to bring in anything gun-related, and IF Customs inspects the shipment and finds it, you WILL get a visit from the ATF. Smoke dischargers are nothing but tubes and are easily replicated here. You can mess with having them demilled to ATF specs, but its far...
