    Rear Radius Rod

Well, to add to my plight.. I also have another radius tube I ordered months ago, and it is even shorter than the 10.87” model..it’s like 8 1/2”... My front radius rods are close to the 10” rods, but my rears are definately 12”.. guess I’ll do some calling around .. feel free anyone to look...

    Rear Radius Rod

Yes like that one, if that one is 12" and not the 10.87" that I've been finding everywhere. Im just concerned with the shorter length because my rod ends will most likely only screw into the radius rod up to the far end of the relief cut and not completely into the tube.. Not sure if it...

    Rear Radius Rod

Tearing down rear end on the 88’ M998. Want to replace the rear radius rods because one is bent and one has some bad threads... So I can’t seem to find anything longer than 10.87” as a replacement.. The ones on my rig are a solid 12” long.. Has anyone else had a problem with this or know...

    Leaking trani fluid?

Transmission modulator.. has o ring that might be leaking where it goes into transmission.. Can remove bracket holding it in and slide out to check/replace O ring.. looks like housing may be leaking though because of the bit of RTV smeared over it.. easy enough to get a new one and replace...

    Stuck Fan Clutch

This is what a forum should be like 👍🏼👊🏼 Since I’m working my way around the HMMWV, cooling system purge and clean are close on the agenda.. I’ll probably pull stack so I can thoroughly rinse out the radiator. Also need to do some brake work up front anyway with some odds and ends.. This will...

    Newbie Questions

I said re-manufactured...Id say its a pre GEP that got overhauled and put back in service.. GEPs were probably to new in service to be yanked, overhauled and put back in a vehicle in 2010... Just my thinking though... Are there any Navistar markings in your engine valley on top ??? Find em...

    Stuck Fan Clutch

So got the 1988 M998 fired up last month. Run it in 10-15 minute intervals to keep battery's topped and get to temp. Noticed my fan is engaged and wont disengage when I unplug my Caddy Valve..I can see its working because hoses flex under pressure. Any good fixes for stuck fan clutch??? Can...
