If T-shirts are done, I'll take one 2XL. I'm still an XL, but sometimes the shirts shrink in the dryer and if they are XL and shrink, I'll never fit in it.
No title is no problem. International Title will fix you right on up, and for not much money. There are plenty of threads on this subject, and about the company. Most of us have had great experiences with them.
Buy the lot for a package deal, and save it from the torch! Most of those...
Have a bunch of manuals of them, looking through them and it seems like a neat radio. 225 MHz up into the Gig-range.
Anyone here have experience using one, that can give a basic rundown of its capabilities, pros/cons, and how you like operating it?
Look up the "what have you done to your CUCV today" thread, joediveguy has had a safari rack made out of heavy gauge steel, that bolts to the top rails of the cargo bed, before you put the cap on. It could handle 500 lbs easy. If I was going to make a safari rack, I'd go that way.
Just my two cents...
The M151A2 was ordered in 1969 and the first units rolled off the line in 1970. While Vietnam was still raging at the time, the drawdown was well underway and I don't have any photos or details to say that the A2s were in Vietnam at all. I have plenty of pics of M151A2s...
I saw this on the CL near me, listed as a 1951 trailer. The pics are small and the owner hasn't responded to my emails yet. The trailer looks like a M104 but I've never seen one other than in a military manual (drawing), not sure exactly what it is. Anyone know?
You won't get much of a deuce or 5-ton in trade for that. Maybe a basket case, or a running farm truck, at best. You could trade TOWARD a deuce, but you will probably still have to have a couple thou in your pocket to make up the difference.
I'd say $1,500 to $2K. It's a good start, but will still need a lot of work to get presentable, or even working reliably. Cheaper you can get it, the better.
There have been a couple guys who made a CUCV variant out of a Suburban, with excellent results. I think a crew cab CUCV would be pretty awesome.

I hate to be the anti-gimpy, but I always seem to have good experiences with GL, or at least neutral. I cannot say that I have had a bad experience with GL at all, I must be the only one. I have had, however, problems with getting on bases (not GLs fault), a few items were not as good as...
Looks like a M199 two-axle dolly up front pulling the semi trailer. The trailer itself is very unique, never seen one like it. Perhaps WWII or early 1950s?
CJ2A frame with M38 body. It's a Bitsa Jeep. Made of bitsa this, and bitsa that. They are very common.
Regardless, if he doesn't have a matching frame for the M38 body, you can still match what you have together and make a Jeep that won't be original, be will still be fun!
