Changing frequency is actually the way you change the speed of motors.

They will run just slow. I wouldnt try it though.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere (or bad contact) if its killing all the controls id look at the dc breaker estop and the common points of the stop run switch. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

its probably setup for overseas operation. I have not messed with an 831, I know the larger units have a selector switch behind the main console
