Durability question for Gillespie 24087 paint

Equally important is to use a good metal primer first, and plenty of it. Its worth the effort. Been using Gillespie for17 years on armor vehicles. Do it right, let it cure, it will wear like iron.

    M37 GT Replica or Tribute?

My suggestion in regards to building any GT is to keep in mind these modifications were done in country using whatever materials they could scrounge, then attached and fashioned as best they could. In other words, don't make it machine shop perfect. Bolts don't have to match, edges don't have to...

    Sherman in Argentina

This has been covered at length several times before: US armor can't be imported unless it is going to a registered museum trust/foundation.

    Would you buy it?

Considering what restored MBs go for these days, sounds like a good example at a decent price.

    MRAP Alpha up close

Oshkosh is a great company and will remain very important in many areas besides military trucks. But what a waste of our money turning over such a truck to the FBI. Geez, like a bunch of lawyers with badges need armor.

    Submarines, now MRAPS, Latin style

As is typical among Liberals, banning something makes the abuse go away; Hmm, like cocaine, heroine, K-2. Or handgun crime in the UK (up 500% in the last eight years). And banning armor would solve a problem that does not exist. And if it were banned, someone with criminal intent would find a...

    New Guy Here

Twin MGs used in Vietnam by US are M-73's in 7.62 NATO. These were primarily used as co-ax MG in M-60's and were finicky if not properly head spaced. ARVN V-100s often used M-37 and M-2HB combination. Turkish Army models used twin MG-3s (7.62 NATO MG-42)

    2011 Findlay Show...After Action Report!

I got up on Saturday. Anyone know who it was that had the old stretchers that stacked and clipped together like bunkbeds? Anyone know where to find them?

    Most MV Friendly State(s)

OHIO is certainly no problem. For vintage/historic, titling is easy, insurance is cheap, and we don't even have to mount or display the plates, which is really cool.

Where exactly do you guys find the hulls for these things...

Additionally, these are 1960's era vehicles. They have been out of service since the 70's, so don't expect any to show up on GL.
