    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

I believe it is. He had some really cool vehicles. Wish I had more bucks at the time. Shipping things over the continental divide gets rather pricey. Glad it went to someone who appreciates it.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

This is such an awesome truck. I wish I had a chance to see it up close. I got close to getting one but it had been converted to the HIAB crane. Such an awesome and useful truck. But you had to know how to rig it. What a great save! Sure hope you post a lot of restore pics.

    Hello from AZ!

Howdy and welcome from Colorado! Maybe you'll consider an American MV. Some of them have spent a lot of time in deserts and seem to be holding up well.

    m35a2c starter issue

even though the batteries are new have you load checked them? Another thing to try is make sure everything else is off. You might be able to run a jumper directly to the starter. Or even try rotating the engine by hand a few degrees and then trying the starter again. If you have a charger it...

    Fording Project

While operating, does any lube work its way out of the small areas that "leak" pressurized air? Or is it so minimal (if any) as to be inconsequential? Great thread by the way. I like your story about pack ratting. I learned the value of old coffee cans from my dad. Almost never throw away...

Status of the Military Salvage Yard in Rolla, Missouri

I can remember going by this place when I was a kid in the fifties/60's and when my brother was going to school in Rolla and when I went to Ft Leonard Wood in basic. In fact there used to be a couple of these salvage yards in the vicinity. Like you say --more of a hoarder than a salver or...

    Auxiliary heater

so---installing a wye into the supply/return water hoses to feed a second box then I imagine. Separate controls at the wye? in case you want to shut that heater or the other down? I was wondering if anyone experimented with the idea of insulating the heat exchanger box or something along...

    Auxiliary heater

will you use the same heat transfer box as the regular heater or did you have something else in mind? It does not seem to me that the original heater put out that much heat.

    Statistics on Deuce ownership

I can certainly understand the OP's desire to know the numbers but, for me, I enjoy my Deuce regardless. I don't particularly care how others value it, or how many like it there are. I will likely have it till I die. If its worth a zillion dollars or zero. Tons of people have used motor oil...

    What do you build?

Excellent repurpose of MV parts. That has got to be one heavy potbelly/outdoor fire box. Bet it holds heat for a while
