I kind of follow Austin Aviation in looking for M66 parts. Rarely does a cushion appear. When it does, sold quickly.
I made a couple of dozen of the cab reinforcement plates and sold them quickly. Another member made more and sales were also brisk.
I suspect there is a market for 50 or...
My thoughts were that coolant would find many places to hide in the engine. So, watching the slobber tube vent seemed reasonable. It ultimately was not making so much white 'smoke' which I think was steam. Seems to be the way it was.
We discovered the water when we changed the oil last April. I did not get the o-rings fixed until July. Some water got into the oil though not much. I checked the oil again in September and it still showed some coolant in it. After driving it a few hours, watching the slobber tube and again...
I got caught up with work today and decided it was time to check the oil since the o-rings change on the oil cooler. Nothing but oil. Those o-rings were the problem apparently. :D
Fox urine is available at most feed stores. It stinks. It will keep rodents and such away. Also humans if you put on stuff. Best to put it in a lid or something so you can toss it out.

If you do not use JT's adapter get another from OD Iron or someone...
Absolutely the best idea and use for a Folger's coffee container. I have been using them for three years. They work perfectly, last a decent amount of time and are easily available for replacement.
OK, it is getting to be oil change time again. I wanted magnetic drain plugs for the deuces. Where to find them?
I got four 7/8-18 drain plugs from O'Reilly Auto Parts for $4 each. I got some super magnets off eBay for $8. Smaller than a dime.
Some Gorilla Glue and thirty minutes later I...
From reading the posts on this, what may be happening is the alloy shrinks a bit and the gasket is compressed on installation. That may be solved by a re-torque of the adapter.
At 56 degrees here, that is unlikely to happen.
They are easy enough to rebuild. Get a brake cylinder hone for the small piston area and use emery cloth for the big air cylinder if necessary. Follow the TM and pay special attention to cranetruck's thread on this.
Rebuild kits are readily available. Change the rear square plug to a hex...
I was getting coolant in the crankcase. The o-ring that was bad had a small portion of it discolored, they were orange and the defective portion was very dark.
