The battery box is already out of the truck, so anything I hook up at this point will be kinda hand-fabbed. I will try just hooking straight up to 2 batteries if no one sees a problem with that.
I have only camped in the deuce bed once and I had a real issue with condensation dripping off the ceiling on me and all the gear. I mean it was really bad. Is this common? I guess the solution would be ventilation but when it's cold...ventilation isn't always comfortable either!
I guess I'm doing it the hard way. Won't be the first time. :cookoo:
Can I pull the heater and test it by just running + and - wires to a 24-v battery circuit? Or do I need something else in between?
Spent some time pulling parts today. Had a blast. It's nice when you don't have to worry about things going back together. :mrgreen:

The more I look at it the more I think the little plate that is attached to the shifter has a tab that is broken off.
Dumb question: is there a way I can function-check the winch while it's in this condition? If I'm parting out the truck I don't really care if I can drive it or not. But I...
Here are some attempts at showing what's going on between the shifter and the rod guide things. I see something that looks like it may be broken off in there. But I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like.
Hey, i see the problem! The part that is clamped onto the 1/R rod in the front, has a little tab that the shifter is supposed to engage. That tab has slipped out of the slot it belongs in. How do I get it back in?
