Where the front of the fenders attach to the frame bracket, those 3 bolts have springs. Mine were badly rusted. I found springs on Macmaser-Carr that were the same size, but they are much weaker. My turn signal shakes and vibrates badly with them installed.

What sucks is, my company used to have a vinyl-cutting plotter and I made paint masks on it (never knew that term but I did use them). That was about 15 years ago. I asked about it last year and they just threw it away--I could have made my own!
Anybody have pics of current soft-top and cargo covers, color TAN, on OD-green Vietnam-era colored deuces?
I think this color combo would look good but I'll bet there are some examples already running around to see!
It is a careful move to get in the seat but once there it isn't too terrible. My knees don't hit anything. It's not as roomy as a modern fullsize pickup by any means, and the seating angle is not at all designed for comfort, but it's certainly still fun to drive.
