That is a very unique truck I do not know about finding parts for it etc. but it sure looks like it got way to much potential to chop up, you have a truck that I have not seen before and not its a rare collectors item but I would leave it the way it is (original) and get her running and fixed...
In ND I think we have it pretty easy my 925A1 is registered as a farm vehicle, it limits me only to driving it within 200 miles of my land and to date that has not been a problem. Since its also a non-commercial I do not have to maintain any logs or go through scales, it costs me 180.00 per...
Beautiful track congrats and as far as being the youngest woman in MN with a track, I think you are the ONLY Woman in MN with a track, keep the pics coming and congrats once again!

I have a 71 with the White LDT and a C turbo, I love the sounds of the "C" turbo for about 2 hours drive time then I wish it had a "D" on it instead! Concerning buying any M35 based trucks RUST can be a big deal and unless you can do your own body work its expensive to fix, to actually GET RID...
If the boat your going to pull weighs 12K pounds your over weight, the Deuce is rated to to 10K, I am not saying that 12K is a problem, oh hold on YES I am saying that its a problem, single circuit brake system, I am doubting that your boat trailer is equiped with air brakes and the truck is...
Nice job madcroc, you did exactly the same thing I did when I found my 6tmfs were bad, you live in FL and my truck is in a heated shop all winter there is no need for 4 batteries based upon our needs!
KK
Sounds like its certainly got some good potential, I was looking very hard for a 712 for a while and actually found a nice one in FL it had been advertised all over the place for sale so I called the owner and made him an offer 2K less than he was asking and he hung up on me! Great vehicles...
Lex I replaced mine last year and one of the big things is to make sure that you lubricate the cable, pull the guts out of the protective cover and put a conservative coating over the entire inside spring cable assembly, reassemble and install. Its this lack of lubricant that usually destroys...
Good evening folks, just wanted to let you know the master Cylinder rebuild went off without a hitch today. I was kind of surprised when I opened up the rebuild kit I got from Expedition Imports the piston, valves and springs are complete and come fully assembled, I have never seen that before...
Hello Scrambler do a search on this subject it has been discussed pretty extensively, the info I passed on to you is what seemed to be the consensus of where the problem was and how to take care of it! My truck also downs shifts hard from 2nd to 1st and this Spring I am going to take it to the...
Hello Scrambler there have been many threads on this issue and it seemed to come down to draining and completely flushing the tranny AND torque converter, then changing both tranny filters both the internal and external and refilling everything with DexIII transmission fluid, it sounds that this...
The problem with what I see here is YOU have the biggest vehicle by a long shot, who or what are you going to hook your winch to when YOU get stuck?

Hey guys I got the master Cyl. off yesterday and cleaned up, today my parts will be here and I will start the rebuild process, I have not taken anything apart on it yet so its all going down this afternoon. I got hold of Scott at Expedition Imports and he had some brake paste he is including in...
Goat thanks for the info and to be honest I was going to rebuild the master Cyl. without the ATE, sounds like I need it? I looked around here at all the import shops and nobody has even heard of it, do you by any chance suggest an alternate product I could use in place of ATE that would work?

I had just changed to singles on my 925 and made it a total of 14 miles when I had a blowout on the front passenger side tire, I of course had not tools or spare with me so I called a buddy who came over and got me in his pickup and took me back to my shop where we loaded up the spare, a 20 ton...
I had a very similar issue with my 5 ton and finally LOAD TESTED the batteries, JUNK 2 out of 4 were JUNK, dumped the two bad ones and ran off the other two for a few months then installed two brand new CAT batteries and all is back to roses!
KK
Congrats on the 10 ton, you have a very nice looking truck to start with, I have one coming later this Spring, it has a hard top but is missing the rear winches, keep us posted we need another DIRT 71 rebuild! Good luck!
