I started from an original I had in the garage. These are not painted, so you can put on the color of your choice. I do not believe you can find them at a lower price. If the first dozen sell out, I will make more.
See TM 9-2320-361-24P, WP 237 for the drawing.
These are extremely close to being duplicates of the original. The u-bolt holes might need a bit of a touch up with a grinder for authenticity freaks.
$100 each, plus shipping from 76201
I will post pics tomorrow.
I put AVM's on the front and forward rear axle using the paper gaskets. They seem to work fine, no leaks and I estimate it took no more than half and hour to install all of them.
I did not feel anything. I could see that David was not fighting it in the turns and it left no skid marks on sharp turns. Of course, I was not driving.
The total time did not exceed twenty minutes for the install. That includes going to the garage for a screwdriver to pry the axle loose...
I changed out the front rear axle today using the OD Iron supplied axle and the jatonaka AVM locking hub.
It seemed to be a perfect match. The axle seems to be quite sturdy. Nothing to the exchange. Take out eight bolts, remove the axle, insert replacement and put the eight bolts back in...
So, I watched the local auctions. Found one nearby.
New multifuel, for five ton, with power steering pump in the container.
Went to bid today. Good Grief! Wow! $1,500!

The axle arrived. Shipped about four days ago. In good order. Nicely packed.
No instructions. Not a big deal as I am able to read the TM's and have worked on many vehicles.
Who made the axle is unknown. It seems nice enough.
I found the service from OD Iron and the explanations poor at...
I was in USA6x6 a month or so ago. They apparently have quit stocking Ouverson parts.
I have done some amount of business with OD Iron this year and have had my orders filled promptly.
But, I have to say this is the first time I have ever been chewed out for ordering and paying for something...
Not what has been told to me. I guess it is possible.
I really am tired of this mess. I will take whatever they send me. One month, several PMs and no product so far.
Will the mods delete this thread please. I do not care at this point if I get anything at all. I will just order from...
OK, no problem. Now that everyone knows what is going on NOW. I have had a very poor communications from you. Now I get flacked for trying to find out what is going on still.
So, lets recap this. First I ordered from you a specific product. You did not ship, took the money and I tried to...

One month has now passed from the time I ordered and paid for the Ouverson axle.
Still no part, no further communication other than some PMs at the first of the month and what you have read in this thread.
The spin on primary filter comes in quite handy if you put an algaecide in the fuel tank. The accumulated crud fills the filter quite easily the first time. After that you can drain it with some intervals between to keep it open.
Changing out the original filter under those circumstances...
