I am grinding the O'Reilly puller to fit around the shaft. It has a larger diameter screw and I will use an extension on the ratchet for more torque. We shall see.

I just got a surplus steering wheel puller, like new if not new, to remove the steering wheel on the M35 when I rebuild the steering gear. After I finish, I can lend it to anyone needing it. All you pay is the freight both ways.

I got the vinyl from TNJ Murray. $175, works fine. No opening window and no insulation. But in Texas, who needs the insulation.

It does not appear to have the loops for the sides to slip into.

What is the best way to remove the steering wheel? It has been on a long, long time.
