RE: and more...
Don't you wish you had the straps for the ammo can holders? Sigh, so do I. Cannot find them anywhere. Oh, well, it looks good up and going.
Now all you need is a full auto M60 to complete the package.
The rack over the spare is for the pioneer tools.
The M66 ring will mount many weapons. You can get the weapons with a large enough wallet.
Putting it on a hard top requires cutting a hole in the top. There are posts here on that subject.
Good luck.
So, when will he be ready to deliver? I suggested this to him some months ago. I think modern filters would be better than 50 year old designs, but I look forward to seeing if I am right on that. But, spin on beats the stock filter design any day.
Jon, do you have a plumber's license for all that? Drill the frame, mount the adapter, string pipe, look for leaks and it does the same as the five minute jatonka install? Wow! I do not know how much price difference there is but you must have surely spent at least a couple of hours on the...
That certainly appears more complex than the jatonka set up. The jatonka rig is as close to being a five minute job as any that I know of and it seems to work fine.
A super easy install. I shot some plastic on the bottom to perhaps water proof it a bit.
Some wire tools, electric tape and the ability to read made is very simple.
Thanks again, so very much. :)
I think the wait will be worth it. I blew another blinker blinker after putting it on new...
He made me one of his bullet proof blinker thingies. :D
Easy to follow instructions and a quick install.
No more buying blinker blinkers for the deuce!
Neat, neat neat. Pics Monday, maybe.
I really do not know how many might want one of these. I will go down the list on a first come first served basis.
I messed a little with them last evening. The only defect I saw on any was the sun discoloration of some of the nylon tie down straps. Everything else appears as new.
I have...
RE: trailer cover
The covers have arrived. I will post pics tomorrow. They are These are green vinly covers. Part #NSN 2540005139794.
They appear new and unused. Some discoloration on the vinyl from sitting outdoors in wet weather and some fading on the nylon straps on the couple I have...
I am going to Grainger today to pick up some of the star washers. Anyone wanting some for 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 or 1/2 let me know and we can work up something. The washers will be in on Tuesday.
I finally finished the install today.
Learning from the posters here, I carefully Dremel clean the bolts to make a good ground and clean the star washers in the same manner.
Good to go voltage wise.
Mine has a short cable that is perfect to connect to the frame and negative ground for the batteries. The longer connects just right to the positive front battery terminal.
Should this work fine?
