What is the deal with GL removing data plates?

The turn in paperwork has the information. GL wouldn't remove it.

    CUCV emissions restrictions in California

Since you are in Palmdale; run just down the road to Antelope Valley Truck & Equipment (about 14 miles away in Lancaster) and talk to Norm. They'll have any military parts you may need and can probably answer all your CA related questions.

    Lssv

I am guessing who owns them might determine what the acronym is. The Navy calls them LSSV's not COMBATT. We had a few of them when I was at HM-15 in Corpus. Very nice trucks!!!

    misinformed

You guys are also missing a possibility. First, I guarantee GL and DRMS do not verify VIN's off the frames. If the dash is hard to read it could have been turned in with a wrong #. I have seen many parts/vehicles turned in from supply where DRMO (and the unit) jointly inspect and single lines...

    Garage door size

If building a pole barn, you should just shoot for the size that will fit a singled out 900 series. Sooner or later you'll regret it otherwise.

    misinformed

GL used to be on here to help, not so much anymore. CARNAC has way more access to info than GL does.
