How did you work out the fuel pump?
FYI, I worked out a 12 volt system myself on my truck with a 24 volt to 12 volt converter to provide power for a 12 volt braking system. This worked under load.
In addition to annealing, makes sure the washers don't have any burs on them. A light sanding with some fine sand paper (400 grit) can sometimes help in this to buff them smooth prior to annealing. A bent or creased washer is of course going to have issues.
Who was that I saw east bound on I 20 with what looked like the contents of their entire garage (canoes to table saws) in a deuce/M105 and with a pickup following behind? I was in the little silver Honda that honked and waved emphatically as I passed you.
All of it comes down to what the definition of the legal term they're trying to apply to you is. If it's undefined and it has an open end as to if you fit in it, then you have room to maneuver. If it's VERY clear and your truck DOES fit in that class then you have a problem.
I myself has this...
No, part of being a big boy is knowing when to fight and knowing when not to.
Rules that are vague are unenforcible. this is basic US legal principle. This is why my Code Enforcement case was dismissed, not because I had a Business truck or not, but because the law in question was hopelessly...
That's why you confirm with your agent/policy writer first. I've done so on every such contingency to know where I was covered and where I was not covered. That's not so hard.
My Allstate policy covers it if I buy a new car or a used car, I do eventually have to add it but it's covered from the get go. Something I checked a long time ago. IT also covers rental cars and a borrowed car.
Other policies do not of course. It depends on the policy.
Again, it depends on...
Define "no insurance". Because if I go buy a car tomorrow and drive it off a lot, even if I have NOT bought insurance for that vehicle my current policy for my current vehicle will cover me on that vehicle for 30 days. Do I have insurance that covers liability in such a case? Yes. Does it...
See this post, there's a full writeup earlier in the thread.
As I said later, the valve was the most expensive part. But it's the best way to do it in my mind as it avoids the problem of tank to tank transfer and adds redundancy to the fuel system that is present if you build a cascading...
I have done this on my deuce.
I had a second fuel tank that I cleaned out completely and found some new hangers. My method was to use a supply/return valve from an M818 and mount it in the correct place left side of the driver on the floor. I added a second fuel gauge to monitor both tanks AND...
Well, when I tried to get it for my Non-commercial Class A I could not. So....ymmv.
I'm not getting a commercial license for operating a vehicle that's not commercial. Does everyone have a business license for their non-business activities? Just in case some clueless cop has an issue?
