Bjorn, when I looked at a replacement filter for my 5 ton, I seem to recall that it didn't have the fins. And it seemed like the fins were part of my 5 ton's filter, not a separate ring. Could be one of those application specific things where there's slight differences in the filter from...
Hey opcom, how about a modified trailer with an antenna mast on it? you could lower 4 jacks, drive a ground spike, raise the mast and run your wires up the mast for multiple antennas. Or you could sling one off the side of the commo shelter if you can get the telescoping tube type.
The RPG either explodes further away, helpful on early designs, not so helpful on very modern RPGs as they have longer effective 'jets'. They can also stop an RPG because the percussion fuse on the front goes between the slats and the slats actually deform the shaped charge and sometimes stop it...
The curator of the Patton museum and the other private collectors and museums around the country are the ones that are best able to take care of this stuff. I spent part of friday, crawling around the land prototype for the new USMC expeditionary Amphibious Vehicle. It's big inside and looking...
You know what the sad thing is. Most of these trophies will then spend the next 50 years rotting away at places like Aberdeen because the military can't be bothered to properly preserve these things. I just learned there are two British Comet Tanks sitting in the woods at Fort Mead. There's next...

It's a great event. There's usually some WWII tactical transport iron there. High speed tractors, Federal 4x4 Tractors, Diamond Ts, Macks, CCKWs and some odd British/Canadian stuff too! Not to mention aircraft.
I'll be there. Look for the dingo and the Scottish lion divisional sign.

A hole big enough to drive an M123 through....
Seriously though, have you tried googling the Mike number for the tent? I've found a number of directions on places like Techpubs that way.
RE: Doesn
I pull my deuce through the weigh stations, wave, get waves back and keep on going. The two times I've been "stopped" was at the same location. First time they just wanted to chat and admire the truck/armored car. The second time they red lighted me to the scales, they just wanted to...
I have a Non-Commercial Class A license. It took beating the license office with a letter from the State AG to get them to give me the license because they'd never given one to someone not a farmer or firefighter before. When I asked the State AG's office about it initially, they even said I...
