the truck in butler mo is a m813 with the winch and bed removed, i have driven this truck 600 plus miles and i built the tires up and installed the winch in my bobbed m35a2. it was a good running truck with a PTO the last time i saw it
i was trying to send a word file with pics not a pic file, i found the link to Antelope Valley Equipment & Truck Parts they have the units but the price is very high i am looking for one in another place.
the only way i could get the winch to fit was to place the entire mounting bracket inside...
if you can find a old five ton dump truck it will have the little peice bolted to the backside of the PTO box, turn it upside down and reinstall on the deuce PTO box it will work i have done it, the shaft will fit under the sift lever loop, remember to allways leave the winch in spool ro your...
if it has a oil leak it has oil to leak out if it is not leaking it is dry and needs more oil so it can leak, add oil clean it up and slow the leak down a bit. "all aircraft leak it is the speed of the leak that matters most."
if you already have a transmition pto, use a five ton rear pto shaft adapter and put your pump a short distance behind on the frame, $66 for the adapter. the transfer case pto's are very expensive.
over time the seals get stiff and start wearing a grove so the seal is no longer tight against the krank and under pressure the seal will leak, you can get a repair kit that places a sleave over the wear spot and a new seal will fix it
