Be careful with low cost inverters. Their output is not galvanically isolated from the battery. If your third battery is grounded to the chasis and you connect the neutral to the chassis you'll let the magic smoke out.
here is the problem i see the chance of both batteries being equally discharged and charges by two separate alts is slim to none...first off the alts would have to able keep the batteries at exactly the same volts or it will fofce the 24 volt alt to over charge or under charge the second...
Common automotive alternators are simple constant voltage sources (single stage charging). Each alternator simply trys to output it's set voltage 14, 28, etc. The charging rate depends on the battery state of charge, state of health, and the impedance of the alternator.
I am not sure that I understand your comment. Are you suggesting that power will flow back into the alternator? Aside fron a few nanoamps reverse current through the rectifiers, power will not flow back into the alternator.
No problem. Yours is a completely valid reason to keep them separate. You may want to invest in a battery like a Concorde AGM which is meant to be used that way. SLI batteries will not last long if deeply discharged. The point of my first post was simply that it doesn't HAVE to be that way.

Keep in mind that there are bypass valves for both the oil filters and the oil cooler which should make this a non-issue. Can you reference your source for the design intent of the oil filters draining back into the pan?
The one that you are claiming is off an LDS427 is a 3LD-305 (have one right in front of me). According to the list that I posted, it is an early LDT465-C.
