The M1008 has all new GP system/plugs/card/switch,starter relay upgrade ect... and the batteries are 6mos old group 31 Exide made in 2012.

Maybe you should spend all your time doing the sanding and filler work on the dents? Take off all the trim you can. You can use spray cans of primer over the filler, then take the truck to http://maaco.com/ near you and have them shoot the primer and top coat the truck. This will be better time...

Took advantage of the nice weather and painted the truck. It's SW Kem 400 Naval Blue. I am going to use this paint on all my trucks from now on. It's much tougher than the Rapco paint. The paint is still wet it will flatten out and get darker once dry.

Got both rockers installed and first coat of filler, I still have to go over it again. I have about 80% bodywork done. I am looking forward to painting this truck as is going to be Dark Navy Blue.

I have a friend who is in dire need of expert help tracking down a electric problem with his M1009 CUCV. It keeps blowing the 20 amp GP fuse in the fuse block (I am told). They have VERY limited knowledge and just want to take the truck to someone and get it fixed.
