Hey Bert, I will post a pic tomorrow. But I just put them kinda where I think they should go. I do observe where the military put them on the trucks that I restore and try to mimic that to some extent.

The seats are original and are custom covered from my auto interior upholster. He makes them to my order. The rest is all stock re-dyed to color match. Dash is new, vinyl over foam OEM style. David

Are you asking what color? I also like the black and have done a number of trucks with the tan and black, but the contrast is a bit much. I do like the black and green combo but thought I would try the tan interior color.

The body on this truck is perfect for a 686 Tan paint color, so I might do that and do the interior in a camel/saddle color. David

Tan/brown So Tan outside with the brown inside? Like these but with brown interior? My original thought was to do a CUCV kinda like an old WWII vintage truck with the OD exterior and a worn leather interior...

Ok, I am rather tired of doing the same ole thing on every build...ie the burgundy interior on cucv's. So what's your take on a brown/tan interior and either the OD green outside or the NATO 383 green exterior on my next M1009? Like this : http://www.naugahyde.com/productline.asp?id=14 David

Here are a few pics of under the hood. The bracket kit for the compressor is good and comes with a slave pulley to install on the crank. You need to do some good trimming on both battery trays to get everything to fit. Installing the evaporator under the dash takes time and is the most difficult...

Yes, I will get some more pics later of everything. Yes it's all new heat and A/C system. The kit is very good but quite a bit of work. In fact I don't know if I will do it again anytime soon! I also moved the volt meter down and mounted it using an old STE/ICE bracket. Perfect fit.

Just finished this M1009 and installed a Vintage Air A/C system and kept it 24volts. David
