i had to tweak the hardware in my waterloo compressor kit, i don't remember the exacts but here is my post on it https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?67703-What-did-you-do-to-your-deuce-this-week&p=2124297&viewfull=1#post2124297 i put washers behind the fan to get the blades off the...
saturday did just shy of a 300 mile round trip to swap the 109 box for a dropside bed, truck did well on its longest trip yet, haven't filled it to check mileage yet, actually haven't even left the house yet from general start of vacation lazyness and soreness. truck is a bit more spunky and on...
my truck has a detroit in the front and its ok offroad but once i installed mrap wheels/tires it became impossible to steer on pavement, locking hubs was the answer to steering but now i have to lock em if conditions require front drive, i plan to move the center section to the rear axle and go...
did a little looking but didn't find much more then this about it http://postapocalypticlawyer.blogspot.com/2012/06/update-its-your-last-chance-at-avengers.html
mine actually worked the last time i grounded the bare wire where the horn button should be, one of these days ill install the button kit i bought.
guessing the holes in the bed were from a prop weapon, maybe even a camera mount to get double duty from the truck
my deuce has a detroit in the front and after i installed 395s it became impossible to steer more then maybe 50% of range on pavement, had to install hubs just to make it road worthy again
hit the roll up at work last year and a baby rattler about a foot long starts looking for a new place to hide, i tried giving him some shelter under my boot but he fell asleep and didn't wake up, tossed him back into the ditch he likely came from
yea really, lost a dogbone that i had plated on the deuce when i recovered my 105 in jenerette, would probably be smoother driving in the field next to the road
used mine as a mobile compressor/rescue vehicle this morning, mom got a flat, the factory jack disintegrated and the spare was low from the phone call, figured the easiest thing was toss a jack in the deuce and take it instead of looking for a air pig and charging it off my home compressor, just...
well just cause i have a semi relevant pic, a empty buffalo ain't as portly as a 105 but my squareburb didn't mind dragging it across town then home after work, if needed i'd drag my 105 with it but not with any sort of real load
had another tree dive across my dead end street, large oak that died last year after the city sprayed the canal behind my house, base is a full 5' across. mom screwed up the video and this is all i could salvage, ground was about as grippy as you could hope for, locker in the front diff was...
too short on the belt and you will have problems with it dropping between the halves of the pulley, my belt that came in a set was a pain to get in the groove and that was with the radiator out, soapy water will allow the outer pulley to slip against the belt as you tighten the pulley against it
loose is fine, yes it widens the gap, this should help with part numbers https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fetlT06G7eO_aKOzME_VqusYIMdXdyKkeSYW80JaVQI/htmlview
the inner pulley is secured to the shaft of the compressor, the outer should spin assuming rust has not welded it solid, the two bolts just cinch it to the shaft so it doesn't turn and loose adjustment, you may need penetrating lube, i ran my outer pulley completely off the shaft and cleaned up...
the compressor has its own belt and the pulley is a two piece arrangement that serves as the adjustment, loosen two bolts and the outer half of the pulley spins closer or away from the inner half changing the gap between the two, without the special wrench you will need soapy water to help the...
my 53 reo has the airline under the dash with a capped valve on driver and pass sides. planning on using it to run my air horns as its handy and already has a valve to isolate the modifications to the air system if needed
