Built this for my A3. I bought just the recvr tube from E Trailer. Had it welded to a 3" crossbar with some gusseting. Made bolt on side plates that lined up with existing holes in the farm of truck. The pictures show the first set of long side plates. I fount the placed the hitch to low-so made...
Thanks for posting. This is a big deal for those of us who live up north. I didn't do anything to my batteries last year and paid for it this spring. The harsh winter killed 6 of my lesser batteries.
I have put all of my trucks in the barn this year but have yet to get the batteries on tenders...
I have my trucks on a farm where the mice are plentiful. I am trying something new this year. A full on combo of-mothballs on cab floor, mothballs on floor, peppermint oil on floors, and the final -cat pee in kitty litter speed all over the place. Place stinks real good. Keeping me out-hope the...
It came out of Albany a couple of years ago.Look up the thread-Duece hauls an MK18. I had a soldier on base recover it. The thread-story is great. Cops where involved.

Hey Wreckerman,
That dohickey is designed to load ribbon bridges, containers and Sixon modules. Basically anything that can be dragged can be loaded with this self loader. The big X-member is supposed to adapt to containers to allow for a grab of sorts-then load. I tried loading a standard 20...
Thanks for posting. I like to see work pictures and how folks implement common sense and creativity to make use of their trucks. I have some stumps that need to be removed. Straight pulling them out will not work, but looks like your idea will.
Thanks.

Well, maybe not this past week, but worthy of posting. Couple of weeks ago for the car lift. Couple of months ago on the A3 lift to help dump rocks from her bed.

A3 got some luv. That A3 was part of a Combat Battalion that was shipped from Kuwait and into my hands. I am keeping a little bit of history alive with her.
Thanks for the vote!

That hard 2 to 1 downshift is not as hard on the human driving the vehicle as it is for the universal joints and gearing in the differentials. It is also tough on the transfer case. When sizing a gear reducer for an industrial application, one must use a much larger service factor-or gear box...
There is a recent book on our US Ambassador to Germany in the early 30's. Its a great ready and gives a first hand seat at Hitlers table along with his cabinet. Ambassador Dodd was a University of Chicago history prof. He used his knowledge as a lever of diplomacy. He warned Washington of what...
It depends on how far you want to repair-restore the bed. If you simply want the flakes gone-a pressure washer with a Northern Tool sand siphon top will do a good job. The pressure washer water blast draws a bit of sand out to help clean flake areas. It will smooth the edge of the flake to good...
Maybe simply remove a few leafs out of the existing front leafs-add a bag directly over the center of the axel. Fine tune it by add-removing leafs and adjusting air pressure.
