As I recall, 3/8 SAE coarse and 1-1/2 inches long but I am not absolutely sure so I recommended to match to one that is already there.
Here in my shop I probably have a couple of dozen of these from all the years I was building and rebuilding cars and trucks
Take one out of the ones that are left and go to a hardware store. Be sure to use at leastr grade 5 or better. A lock washer would be recommended as well.
I bought a K type ISS PRO thermocouple and gauge. No Power required and still has illumination via a 24 volt bulb.
The real question is where to install it.
I did a study using two thermocouples to verify the claims that the post turbo PYROMETER reads 100 degrees lower than the pre turbo...
Many times when a new member comes into the forum, they have not a clue and want the answers spoon fed to them. They are either lazy, ignorant, stupid, or any combination of these.
I would offer my apology for not offeing the answer immediately.
To be honest, and I know I am speaking for...

take it apart, fix it and put it together.
The vent line takes a 3/8 wrench. The cap on the master is 3/4. I use a short adjustable wrench to remove the cap as it makes the swing under the floor and makes it easier to do.
As to knowing your truck, there is a PDF GTA-9-1-1851-8 with all the pertinent information about all systems on the...
True true...I saw a post of a individual who said that many hours. I do not necessarily consider the number of hours as important as the nature of the use. COnstant hard work, at high RPMs, is very demanding and if an engine can hold up for 4000 hours, that is a lot of miles and use.
Regardless...
What I have found is that 51-52 MPH is in a 'safe' zone. If you want to see discussions regarding this, look for blown motor in the deuce forums.
I did not invent this notion of limiting RPM on long hauls. I decided to keep that as a policy once I had been reading posts for a while and read...
While these engines are known to have issues if run constantly at over 2200 or so, there are many variables that could be causing the noise.
My suggestion is to try to get another MV person to come and listen to the noise.
I know if I do not add the supplements to my fuel to make up for the...
There is a SINGCARS installation manual over on www.jatonkam35s.com in the deuce TM section. The show mounting the antenna base on a pipe mounted in the driver's side Machine gun ring mount location on the back of the cab. This also shows the location for the radio itself.
I know that even though my gauge works, I cannot trust it. If I am heading on a long trip, I fill the truck and then stop for fuel based on mileage covered and not what the gauge says.
I have driven my truck on trips enough times to know pretty much how many miles per gallon I get.
I also...
Hopefully the truck has BFS and there will not be any interior rust in the lines and it will be surface rust that needs to be looked over. Somehow the moisture that does migrate in seems to get to the wheel cylinders and the master cylinder bores more than anywhere else.
My truck has been...
If you park your trailer, chock the wheels and also put blocking under the back so it cannot drop, you can back your 'bought' trailers onto the hauling trailer one at a time, if your towing vehicle is big enough to do it.
You can download all the manuals for the M880 at
www.jatonkam35s.com
in the Resources library in the M880 section.
I do not think they are available here.
Walter, first you bleed the airpack below the master cylinder. Then you move to the farthest away wheel cylinder and move your way towards the closest.
You can read all of the TMs all day long, but if you start at page 87 in
T M 9 - 2 3 2 0 - 2 0 9 - 2 0 - 3 - 2
You will find your answer...
