I had the same problem with mine.
I had the lines swapped, I assumed that the lines went straight across passenger side to passenger side driver to driver.
I crossed the lines and the brakes worked as they should. So I immediately got the paint out and marked the gladhands. :-o
Update.. I got the mep113a fired up yesterday on the first shot. Engine runs nice and smooth, the down side is that the generator isn't producing voltage. I tried flashing it several times but still got nothing. Being that I plan on swapping out the gen head for a 60 hz unit I'm not too...
Yep and a fuse is better than a piece of wire.. LOL
Good to hear your back up and running!
And for what it's worth, it was probably that rusty water that shorted out that fuse.
There is a fuse under a cap on top of the fuel pump housing.
BTW, My wife took a picture of your truck yesterday sitting out front with the Papa John's sign on the hood. lol
Follow up on the filter hunt.
Indeed the WIX 51004 is the correct oil filter for the MEP004 application and the Baldwin filters crossed over to a WIX 33512.
Thanks for the clarification. I found a post that was talking about the 004,005, and 006 filter cross reference and it looks like the WIX 51004 oil filter is what I need.
The next thing I have to do is track down this Baldwin PF902 filter and see if that is correct.
Ok, I officially have a head ache!!
I've been in the search mode all morning after getting back from JBLM with a newly acquired mep113a (soon to be converted in to a mep104).
I've been looking for a cross reference for the oil and fuel filters.
So far I've come across these part #'s using the...
After you bid on an item you can go to the "my account" tab then look under the "bid history" tab to see all the items you have bid on and see the bidding history and the other customer numbers that had bid against you.
I had an auction go that way on me last year...
It took almost a year to get over it and bid again.
Lucky at the last minute I walked away and saved my money.
Thanks Gimpy, I had read through several of the posts about converting 400hz to 60hz including those two and those had quite a bit of info on what was needed to convert the generator over using military spec parts.
I really need to keep the 3ph for my shop and I wanted to know if that Civy...
Apparently I'll be the new owner of a MEP113a and I'll be needing to convert it to 60hz.aua
Could you post the make and model of the generator head you purchased and is it 3 Ph?
Looks like a 105 with a mobile tool room.
There is a project going on right now where one of those is being converted to a camper.

I had an ASK.com tool bar installed on my computer that was attached to my browser. I had to go in and uninstall the ASK.com tool bar from the add/delete programs option in the control panel.
To follow up with other posts, I went to google and did a search for steelsoldiers and it did the...
Since my original post I took the ask.com off of the computer and runs scans whenever the computer is idle and haven't had anymore problems on this sight.
My antivirus software is good about alerting me when it finds problems and takes care of them immediately.
