I finally got my CB, so what channels to use, 'cause I'll be Northbound and down loaded up and trucking. Got a long way to go and a short time to get there, I'm gonna do what they say can't be done
for all you old folks out there, including myself:

Mine "seeps" as well, and you can smell it when it's under load. I really need to remove it and have a custom one made.
A shop nearby will make me a new line, but they need me to bring me my old one to use as a template.
All is good, just messin' with ya. Glad you got it fixed.
I keep an eye on these threads to see what the outcomes are, just in case my 1009 does the same thing. Just another tool in the toolbox.
I could be wrong, but I think he is just referring to the engine oil cooler portion of the radiator. I can see that as the oil cooler hoses are hard if not impossible to find (new) unless custom made.
My "Death by Apple Pie" is jarred and ready, simmering until rallytime.
Might have to kick it up a notch, but we'll see.
The whole house smells like Christmas right now, lovin' it
One would think that the trans and engine are indeed grounded, but remember there are rubber mounts on the trans and engine that prevent both from contacting the frame, unless of course they are worn or broken. The clamps that secure the tranny lines to the frame would be the only source of a...
I was running long on the last thread and I forgot to put this in there, but...
When I was checking the voltage of the coolant, and found that .26 volts, I thought, okay, maybe I have a bad ground strap somewhere. I had replaced one already, but that might not be enough.
So I pulled out a set...
Finally got around to trying this out, mainly because I think I just blew the radiator [which is new by less than 6 months].
So as a scientist extraordinaire, I filled the missing gallon of coolant into my radiator and was waiting for the foam to die down and I thought, maybe I should check...
Back on topic>>>>>Target engaged
always need more wood,
Prospector, don't forget the weenies.
Just a FYI, I'm planning on making some of my concoction that I call "Death by Apple Pie". If everything goes as expected, should be ready in time.
Just bring a comfy seat, 'cause after drinking...
Once you get your truck out of limbo, you need to take your truck and go to a registration service to sort of the paperwork and get your truck legally tagged and registered.
By your sig line, I assume it is your 923?
Not sure about the 10,000 pound rule with AAA, sounds like BS to me, but if it...
The question: is it possible for a hmmwv to run rich? What are the symptoms and causes?
Possible if you or someone else has turned up the fuel delivery (enrichment) screws in the injection pump and/or the IP timing is off slightly, but this is assuming that it has been "tuned" up. It could...
I see what you're getting at and yes, that can happen. I think in my case the 1st 2 cores went bad due to overpressurization from a slightly bad T-stat, by the 3rd core replacement, the T-stat had been replaced. Everything else in the cooling system is new, within 6 months, radiator...
Had to do an emergency heater core bypass on the side of the road the other day. Heater core #3 burst where the core meets the header (between the fins).
Got it replaced, warranty, waiting to see how long this one will last. This makes 3 heater cores in less than 2 months.
At this rate...
Metal would be the best repair like CUCVRUS is suggesting. I repaired mine partially with metal and the rest with a fiberglass epoxy resin filler, like bondo but much better. If I had to do it again, and I probably will, auaI would weld in fresh rust-free metal.
Mine went bad when I 1st bought...
