GPs Ok, did some more testing. The top post of the GP rellay is showing 0. with the key off. If I am reading it correct. And the resistior wire at the wire block is reading 0 with the key off. So it (top post of GP relay) should read 24v with the key off?

GP Hey Joe, thanks for the help again. I did test the resistor wire..I took it off the wire block and left it on the top post of the GP relay. Tested it for resistnace ohms, it was .4 I understand the GP relay top post should be hot with 12.5 volts in the off position. Here is a picture...

I did ssearch but could not find an answer to my issue. So here is the problem, The truck was not on the glow plug system when I got it, someone had by-passed the GP resistors with a hot wire to a switch inside the truck. So I am putting it back original. It has new repo GP card, new AC 60G...

That's the primer coat...if you are asking how much paint it takes to cover the blazer in one color coat...it depends if you use primer then about 1/2 gal. If you just use new paint over the old paint then 1 gal. Of course it also depends how much you thin the paint, how much bodywork was...

Yes tires on the truck are 33X12.5X15 :beer:

Paint Paint= Rapco Mask= SAS Bandit Respirator Just sand down the paint until smooth but do not go to bare metal if you can help it and then take your time and start painting. Think 3 coats..one light then medium then heavy. David

Paint equp. I like the HF paint guns I use the HLVP larg gun and the detail gun. I spent a little more and got them for 49.95 and 39.95 ea. The detail gun is great for cutting in the camo pattern and cuts down on the overspray alot. Be sure to get a " Air Dryer" for the hose and air supply...

Hood Thanks for the good comments. Yeah I think it's a 2 inch cowl hood. More pictures to follow. David

Here are a few shots of the current project for Ben (combatmech) M1009. He is getting a outside paint job with 383 green and black camo. He also had me install a new all steel Goodmark cowl induction hood which I think looks great. It's in primer now and will soon be green ASAP. David
