I set my fuel inmy truck so it cruises at 850-900 and works at 1050-1100 tops.

I replaced my stack with muffler with a stock stack and noticed a 50 degree drop in EGTs.
There is no apprent change in power.

Where is your front tires air pressure set at? If you have them at 50 PSI it could explain why you are hitting the roof on the bumps....I run my fronts at 40 rears at 30 and I am running with 4000 payload all the time. I adjusted this to keep the tires wearing evenly and they have been wearing...
While you have the hubs off, you can pack the wheel bearings and inspect and/or replace the seals. Oh, you will need the 8 sided 3" socket to deal with the nuts on the spindle.
Functionally, the limit on the M105 is the tires. You can only safely haul what they can handle. While the springs and other components are more than sturdy enough, you cannot get around this last issue.

EGTs are usually high when you are working the truck...throttle full, and not at max RPM. You are injecting as much fuel as you would use at 2600 at 1800 and the fuel unburned in the compbustion chambers is burned on its way out which is bad for the turbo and pistons and other expensive parts...
As much as New York State is a pain in the rear tax wise and otherwise, I think I am doing fairly well as far as keeping my deuce here.
I renewed my Historic plates and insurance for under a C note.
I do have to have it inspected annually but with the truck registered for under 18000...
As I recall, if you turn the master on its side; which way I do not remember; it will come out through the hole fairly easily. I have done it three times on my deuce. I would add, I did not remove the Airpack either.
