I think I too may be needing a new sol. valve. Unless I have another issue, Twice in the last couple weeks I've had the 818 shut down on me. The first time I had been moving a trailer around the property and was getting it set in place and the truck just died. It sat for a few minutes while...
I had a couple times where they "forgot to bill me" but sent it anyway. I went for more than a year before I bought something that required a SF-97 again. That is when they caught up with me and wouldn't release until I was paid in full.
I was ahead for a little while.:shock::shock:
Check your points, sounds like they're not opening up.
The spark is created in the coil when the supply voltage is momentarily removed from the coil causing the electrical field to collapse. That is why you are seeing a spark when you shut off the ignition.

Josh, try running your intank pump for about 30 seconds before you try to start, that will help flush out the air. I had the same thing happen to me, bad fuel return lines.
Like stated earlier, open the hood, locate the E-stop cable, follow it down the valve on top of the IP and open it back up.
Item #32 bottom frame of the picture.
Or you could remove the access panel in the drivers side wheel well and reach the valve from there.
I use that as a form of theft...
That is the drain hole for the bell housing. In picture #2 there is a plug to the left of the open hole. That is the plug that goes in the open hole, that is the storage location for the plug when it is not being used. You plug the drain hole before you ford through deep water.
Do a search on...
I just finished up the M818 with similar parts. I used the Anco 30-13 wiper blade for mine, it's a plastic covered metal blade. Total time was about 15 minutes, no trimming required like the last time I did it on the Deuce.
Next will be a coat of flat black.
I can look when I get home, but if I remember correctly the fitting size is 1/8 npt. The tubing size under the dash is 5/16" and yes the air supply is T'd off from the air switch for the transfer case. You will find that the tubing fittings under there are flare fittings, not compression...
Welcome to the site, I too live close to Ft Lewis if you need some help.
Just tell the wife that your "buying to resell".:wink: That will work for a while. LOL
I agree with mike, I think the fine print from GL states 1 year from end of auction to get an SF-97.
Options may be going to a titling service maybe, anybody have thoughts on that?
If I understand the math on the Gross weight fees then it works out to be $23.75 per month for a 30k Gross.
You can buy the gross fees on a monthly basis if desired. So realistically it could be pretty cheap to license a 5 ton if you don't want to use it as a daily driver. LOL
Here is a...
Hammer, you caught me on that one. LOL
I know we had that conversation before.
Air over hydraulic = no air no brakes.
Air assist = no air, brakes are hard to use but are still there.
