Thanks Dan for opening up your place to everybody. Me and the girls had a great time and was glad that the weather held out as long as it did.
Here are some pics.
I double clutch also.. Defiantly shift nicer when the tranny is cold.
I have tried to speed shift in the deuce, I can do ok at it, but I don't feel real comfortable doing it.
I'm only about 20 Min from the rally point so I can get there earlier if needed. Mine too is loaded in the trailer..
I'm waiting for a call back to see about getting it to him earlier.
I do have tow lights too if needed.
I made a manifold that has 3 hydraulic filters in parallel that are rated at 3 microns. I use a small gear pump to push the oil through them, it's a bit slow but it works.
As for a mix, the highest I've gone is 80/20 oil/gasoline, but that was in the summer time. Right now I'm running...
I had a similar problem with mine. Took apart the turn signal unit and found a broken solder joint. Went over all joints with fresh solder and all is good again.
So in picture #3, is this some creative photo shopping or does the Deuce have TWIN stacks on it???
From the picture, it looks like the Drivers side. With a stack and a heat shield and intake mushroom.:grd:
Last time I talked to brad, the 1" pins for the Med bars were getting scarce. We found a couple that need minor machining to work. Seems that the O.D. changed over the years. The last time I looked there were still quite a few of the bars.
I spent the afternoon loading a trailer for the upcoming event..
Goodies that I'll bringing include
5kw field lighting kits
boarding ladders for m109 shop van
boarding ladders for m105 trailer
boarding ladder for m101 trailer
Misc lights and other hardware.
Rear support leg for m105...
