    Deuce for every day driver?

I would have to agree with Heavysteven,- these trucks could be expensive and undependable- you'll need a good source for parts, and a good selection of tools- big truck size, have mechanical ability or pay somebody else to work on your truck, and once you take it for a few long trips, and feel...

Personal modifications- make my life easier

The heater assembly come out of a 80ish chevy pickup. You'll have to make a 3 inch hole in the firewall to allow the petruding motor to set past the firewall, and then 2) 1 inch holes for the heater core inlet and outlet connections. There will be 4) 1/4 inch housing mounting bolts that also...

Personal modifications- make my life easier

Here is another look at the tow bar receptical - also as a front mount attached to the winch. But I have been playing with the idea of mounting the bars under the front bumper into the same bracket.

Personal modifications- make my life easier

As far as weight conserns on the front bumper, I have been looking into putting a hydraulic 12 volt pump with a storage tank and valves with 2) detachable hydraulic rams placed into a welded cylinder placement behind the bumper and placing the rams inside the cylinders with a quick disconect...

Personal modifications- make my life easier

The red button is for the 160 amp relay for the rear, otherwise there is power going to the rear of the the truck through a #2 welding cable attached to the crane. The heater core is out of a chevelot pickup about 35,000 BTU I was told and mounted right in - more than enough heat and air flow...

    Siphoning gas from M880

Try air pressure to the tank inlet with a rag wraped around the opening ( restrict the pressure - don't over pressure) and disconect the hose to the motor and attach a length of rubber hose to it- apply pressure to fuel tank and have lots of containers near by.

Personal modifications- make my life easier

As far as the crane, I picked it up a auction about a year ago along with a truck body for $400 sold to the truck body for scrap, rebuilt and lengthen the hand held remote, and had the electric motor for crane winch rebuilt. I tryed to install a small gas driven motor with a HD alternater I had...
