I agree about they need to be closer to the ground to be effective as fog lights But they are in a very bad spot if you take it offroad.. If you had mounted them back farther they would be protected by the bumper on steep aproach angles and still give the same lighting effect.. I would mount...
If it's popping out of gear you have more wrong than a syncro.. either the engaging teeth are messed up or there is something moving around due to a bad bearing or something else ..
i almost never use first .i use low in the transfer case and second in the trans. And use neutral in the transfer case when sitting at a stop light like kenny does..Second goes in easy on a upshift it's the pulling it out of first thats tough..Downshifting to second requires the right speed ...
this is most likely your problem they almost always leak.. i would switch back to regular pet cocks or 1/4 turn valves to fix that leak .. before i waist any of my time hunting down other possiblities..You probably need to adjust the air governor to .. but when you get done reading the tms on...
Couple problems with using a rollback tow bed ..First a deuce is too high off the ground for that to work.Second the deuce has to much hang over past the rear axle to use the bed off of a one ton...Also all the extra weight of putting a roll back and a stock bed would pretty much use up all your...
i've been on the bed change idea for a while i have it all drawn out .My setup is a dump- roll off box .I have the winch and dump setup . i just need to get the other materials together ,, My idea was i would set up a m109 box as a camper , have my dropside for working . and do a longer flat bed...
the best advise i can give you is get you a book call the engineers black book from granger..it's about 10 bucks and has the charts for what drill angle-speed for every type of material.. it comes with a really handy drill bit sharping gauge that lists the basic angles right on it...Also get...
A. the same manifold is used on the non-turbo'd motors; meaning that the intake was never designed to 'cool' a compressed IAC.
B. even if it was, the results documented on this site by a member's testing yielded an 11°F drop in IAC temp at 12 psi boost. this is essentially worthless as far as...
Yep 27 psi..on a 22 to 1 diesel....They hold together pretty good..I ended up changing the motor because it had alot of blow by but it was like that before i turned the fuel up.I really didn't expect it to hold up to the abuse i put it through.. ..With how it is set right now i can run through...
It's real easy to get decieved by the boost figures on a stock multi turbo.. For one thing they make alot more boost than most think is possible .. the issue is getting air cooled down before the turbo. The 6bt was an inner cooled motor ..If you inner cool a multi you can safely run much higher...
multis are made to run on the gov all day everyday.. thats why they have a gov.....The problem is when you ride the gov and go down hill this is when over revving can happen.BUt 2650 is safe rpm . If you blow it up at that speed you had something else wrong with it to begin with.
I really like that gauge.. Where did you get it ?What brand is it.. I am looking to do a pyro and new boost gauge in my truck real soon.. any info would be great. Thanks
I know there are several blow up multifuel engines out there.. i have seen them with blown head gaskets, thrown rods and holes in the block..But has anyone melted the pistons in a multi?I have my fuel turned up probably more than i should as i'm sure many others have done in the past.. But i...
i drove the truck again yesterday with my friend ... he agrees it sounds smoother like it must of had a plugged injector that freed itself up..I tested the governor and it is working .. I also looked at my old injection pump from my other motor looked like i went about 1 turn on that one but i...
interesting?Yes they look thin and the bead is the wrong one for those tires .. Those beads are for the 14.5s . but two things i want to point out is the bends make it a little stronger but i wouldn't be running them on a deuce.. second one piece wheels i would like to get ahold of some of those...
