Nothing wrong with aftermarket pans as long as it's not chrome..or a cheapy.. The chrome pans are made of thin soft metal they will distort and leak..We sell cast aluminum pans with drain plugs at my job .. They are avilable from jegs and summit to ..The ones we sell are less than 100 bucks ..

There were about 4 different type mirrors used on the deuce.. two different ones that used round mirrors with mounting points on the door hinges or side of the cab.The elephant ear type that mounted to the windshield hinge.And the other is the west coast which uses the bigger mirror and mounts...

I've been looking to buy or trade for a m109-m185 box for awhile with no luck on finding one at a decent price.. i would even be willing to remove it or do the swap....Man i hate to see em getting scrapped out

So you chopped the top are you frenching the head and tail lights to?is there gonna be some kind of half naked chic air brushed on the hood ?Are you wanting the rear windshield to be removable to when the top is off?I'm sure it could be done but a bigger slider might work better than flip open...

ok so i called my tire guy ...He's out of xls but said he has another 11.00 radial for 100 each..And has 11.00 ndts for 65-75 .I'm thinking the 11.00 radials must be goodyears?What others treads are out there besides the ndt ,xl, street tread goodyears in 11.00?

Duals have more traction?."hmmm.last time I checked you get less ground pressure with duals and they pack up with mud and snow between the duals resulting in little or no traction.I have run my truck with duals and singles and you couldn't pay me to go back to duals.night and day...singles win...

Excessive slobering and white smoke? You probably have bad rings or a melted piston letting alot of oil into the cylinders.. Head gaskets won't make it slobber oil out the slobber tube and exhaust.. You would smell the anifreeze burning.. It smells sweet.How does it start ? low compression can...

If you want to do a lift between the spring and axle get some different spring perches that weld onto the axle. in the lift height you want... They make them for rockwells.. But even that adds alot of leverage on the spring when braking but it is doable.

exactly the rear suspension is what makes these trucks so awsome offroad....To see what they can do even in stock form is mind blowing

a stock deuce will run 56mph.with 11.00s your at about 62-63mph. and with 15.5s-395s you're at 69-70mph..anymore than that and you're asking for problems when it comes time to stop.. i ussually keep mine under 65 and i have 15.5s..

Exactly my point.Cars don't have the gear ratio needed to pull the weight or tire size that the deuce does with 140 hp. You are proposing getting rid of the gear ratio it takes just to get things moving with 14000lbs 41 inch tall tires and 140hp

The reason i ask is you really need to drive one to know what we are talking about .. numbers and research does quite sum up what a five minute test drive on a hilly road could do instantly.. i think most 4 cyl engines in cars have similar hp to a stock deuce but are 10000lbs lighter.Then think...
