Not sure if SAE3 or 2 applys to the crankshaft bolt pattern and depth..It would be easy to check against another motor. I would think there's a good chance it might ..Since the whole whole idea of standardizing bellhousings would be to make different combos easier.Even if the flywheel bolt...
Either way the multi has a sae3 bell with a sae 3 to sae 2 adapter. But you would still come up short on a flywheel.. I'm sure an adapter could be made pretty easy.
i think a 545 or 1545p swap would be pretty easy as long as you dont have a winch on your truck. Moving the transfer case back would be worth it..If you have a winch the 545 or 1545p has the pto on the wrong side which would make alot more work for you.The a3 uses a 545 or 1545p.The 1545p is a...
I bowed mine and braced between them to give me a little more head room and make the water run off a little quicker...but they are straight from the factory..
If you have a tractor or access to a fork lift i would do the bed swap.. less bolts and work..Plus you would be keeping it true to the data plate..i have done both and think the bed is easier to swap..those fine thread bumper bolts like to freeze up and mess up the threads.. And that starts...
I'm not saying you build junk.it looks well built.I just think you were low on the weight.bathroom scales don't do good weighing things like that.I would use the weights from the book to calculate the weight.or weigh yourself then weigh yourself holding the hitch close to your body to get a more...
NIce job.. i like the rear hitch but love the front hitch...64lbs for the rear seems really light ?I did mine with a 2.5x2,5 reciever tube and a 2x2 tube running side to side with 3/4 x3 flat bars running up to the pintle hitch and it weighs just over 80lbs..You have more tubing and weigh less...
Now if somebody would just come up with a reasonibly priced kit to put 12alt on a deuce?:p....i need to put my 12 volt set up on my truck so i can mount my 12 remote control spot light on there...
Dont do the swap... You won't like the final product..You would be better off selling the dump and putting a dump on the m35a2c... You'll end up with a bigger bed with drop sides.Either bed on the m35a2c won't give you a double frame..Just do like i did and box the bed frame rails with 3/16...
Nice mod.. I'm sure you'll love being able to see in the rain and snow now.I like it alot better than that monstosity of a thing the military uses for electric wipers..keep us posted on how they work out for you..now you just need some electric washers to
it's a hydrualic torque multiplier, not a char lyn valve....It is a hydrualic motor that adds torque to the input side of the steering box that could possibly over load the steering box.. but i dont think it would judging from the torque numbers they rate it at ..It does not use a cylinder on the...
the point i was trying to make is not whether a brake failure is just as likely as a hydro line giving out..it is simply the major difference of what happens when you have complete steering failure..the sudden change of dirrection at highway speed would most likely flip the truck. Or on a two...
i have just one fear of using the torque multiplier...what is the max load the stock steering box can handle before twisting the sector shaft?I am pretty sure it would be ok but it would be something to keep an eye on.If you were gonna piggy back something off the steering column to run a char...
please show or tell me how i'm wrong when i say full hydro steering has no back up.or show me a hydro line that will never fail...if you want to prove me wrong show me one truck that came with full hydro steering from the factory? If not take a second to think why they didnt put them into...
and secondly, ... man, i really don't even know where to begin explaining why a manual transmission is not a 'designed braking feature.'
ummm semi?who uses the brakes to slow down all the time ..it's called engine braking some trucks have a jake brake as well..i don't know why brakes...
question about the steering valve set up? It looks like it is a hydro motor with a valve built into it.Does it require anything other than a pump and the unit itself? Or is it just a control valve to opperate a hydro cylinder?
