Not only does the size of the tube matter but you need to have the right type..Those are radials and you need to have radial tubes .. bias tubes will not last long with radial tires no matter what size they are .Trust me i changed all my tubes on flat at a time... Not cuz i wanted to but i found...
wildchild I'm loving the swimming pool idea..Sorry for the small pics i took them on my cell phone.I've had alot more than that on there..The place i buy my slag from charges 50 per truck load .So i make the most of it.. have have them load it till no more will stay on the truck..The guy that...
i had it stacked 1-2 ft over the roof and hanging over the cab and off the back with concret from a driveway tear out i did. That was the heaviest..MY hitch that is ussually 20-22 inches off the ground was scraping when i hit bumps.THen i have had several loads of dirt, sand ,and gravel stacked...
Just be glad it was the deuce that went for a ride down the hill it would been alot worse if it had been the unimog..That bumper being way out there cuz it is a winch truck surely saved it from alot more damage.. Don't look at it as a failed test.Look at it as a new way to make a trail:beer:
I've had 40000-50000 in the bed of my deuce it was way down but popped right back up once i dumped the load.. but you are way overloading it if you make it squat. Trust me i am the king of overloading a deuce..But as for what you are thinking they wouldnt work with the suspension on a deuce
i have a stewart warner boost gauge in mine but no egt gage yet.. i had to mod the gage to use the stock deuce dash lights to work.. I just installed it in the empty spot on the bottom left of the gauge cluster.Does anyone remember what size tap you need for the thermocouple ?
Sorry they're not the right color for you .You can just send then to me they will match my truck just fine:lol:Just think in a little bit you'll have every option on your truck
Not fun at least noone was hurt ..THis was a test this was only a test if it were an actual emergency you would have heard a snap then a whole bunch of crashing sounds..this was only a test beeeeppppp. What was the cause of the failure?
i got rid of my bumperettes to make room for the pivot bar for my dump kit..I also moved my pintle down to clear it to ..This is the second disgn hitch i have put on my truck and i already want to sell it and make me a hydraulic wheel lift-hitch for the back instead
The main thing i would do different with your design is i would make the vertical leggs solid to the cross bar.. I would weld them to it this would keep the cross bar from trying to roll under the loading and unloading of tongue weight. Also it would help keep things from rackin from side to...
Super nice job on the mounts..i finallly get to see a deuce winch on a truck it is properly sized for....You might consider building a shackle mount into it just incase you ever need to run a double line pull..It looks really good on there ..[thumbzup]
Not sure who would have parts for the pto .Thats just a standard deuce pto. I would change the pto and if the counter shaft in the trans has any chipped or pitted teeth i would look into getting a trans to.. If you put a new pto on the trans and the trans has chipped teeth it will break them...
Those tires are gonna look pretty cool on there. Are you planning on keepin the radio box on there?I bet it's gonna run a hundred times better with the propane kit on there ..I wonder what the cost to opperate per mile will be compared to running on gas..More less how many miles you will be able...
hmm?Seems like a different mod... i like the electric-mechanical starter that you crank to start if the electric part fails.. They are really cool.not sure how much they cost but it would be nice to have a back up just in case
ya those don't work to nicely.I was gonna buy some new fuel cans but didn't like the idea of how they work..Looked like a good way to spill fuel all over the place
